Do agencys test their SPs for STD`s/HIV?

I was wondering if any of the reputable agencys here in MTL such as devilish and GOF among others have their girls tested once a month just to be safe, because the thought occured to me today that this would be a great thing to implement if it isn`t already being done by the agencys. I know that myself and many other guys I know would deal exclusively with agencys that tested their girls routinely.

If this is something that isn`t the norm however my question is why? Surely it couldn`t be due to cost as a immediate STD/HIV test costs about 60-80$ to my knowledge, so what reason or excuse could agency owners have for not having their girls tested once a month just to be on the safe side of things? I think this is an interesting topic of discussion and would very much like to hear other peoples opinions on this.

that is a very good question! I had known an agency or two be ore where it was mandatory the girls get tested every 3 months (even a dr would say every month would not be really possible) and if the girls would not have their papers 2 weeks later they were not able to work!!! but of course nowadays it isn't mandatory, but who would really know if all the girls get tested, I say they should actually carry their papers with them as proof for I know some men are skeptical regarding this issue!

cheers

If they carried their test results with them, they would also have to reveal their identity to the client to confirm that the test results were indeed theirs. I doubt that any SP would be willing to do this any more than a client would be.

No matter what... test results are only valid if you are the first person to see the provider since she was tested and received a clean test result. If you are the second or more, the results are no longer certain.

100% certainty is impossible in any sexual relationship unless you are in a monogomous situation and never stray.

just let me correct you CS Martin, from my own experience there are certain places where the girls may go and on the paper nowhere is their name written, just a number that the dr's etc would be able to recognize!! but the name can also be hidden manually!

thanks

Which only means that the client has no way of knowing if the test results are indeed the results of the girl who is showing them to you. Numbered test results are only valid to the person who knows that the number is connected to them. They are meaningless to any third party who requires a method of confirmation to validate the results.

Actually doctors at clinique l'Actuel, and those at Stella and Cactus (I believe it is Medecins Sans Frontiers) recommend every 6 months to sex workers.

...But all the tests would say is nothing shows at this moment in time. As others have pointed out: a test is valid only until the next time she has sex. Carrying papers showing negative results would only increase the number of clients who try to pressure SPs into performing unsafe acts.

Its only common sense that the Ladies working in this business are getting themselves tested. No need to start pointing any fingers at agencies. Don't you think these Women value their health just as much as you do ?

Everyone with multiple sex partners has the responsibility to get themselves tested on a regular basis.

Mod 5.

I would tend to agree, however since agencies do make a profit they should also share in the responsibility!

It is after all in their interest to keep their "market" safe! Being us the punters!

My real qualm is that agencies, Indys and other workers should also contribute to our health programs! But thats for a different post!

As for testing right now its up in the air, and I do not see any way how this can be rectified!
Caveat Emptor!

The safest way to behave...

...is to assume that everyone you have sex with has some sort of STI and then act accordingly.

Gentlemen, remember to always put on your party hat!

and Ladies makes sure there is no entry without proper attire!

Yes the logic here is unassailable.

Regardless, I would still have a bias towards choosing a sp and/or agency that I knew had tests at least every 3 months vs someone who tested once a year or only after signs of a problem developed. Shows a concern which is likely also indicative of reasonably sound practices all around.

Sadly, I doubt any agency is always resolute in the enforcement of such a policy.

Just curious: How often do you go get tested?

For the last 3 years every 6 months. Once a year as as an add-on to my annual physical (insurance requirement) and once on my own. I see 2 escorts a month but there are a lot of repeats there. I see Indy`s , mainly because I like the individuals but also naively thinking they have less mileage per month than agency workers.

I`m not obsessed with this at all, love etc, but I`d be willing to pay a little more for a perceived increase in safety.

A lost marketing opportunity in here somewhere.

I see Indy's most of the time for the same reason. Is it really not true they see fewer clients than agency SPs? I'm very curious as to what are the facts here.

Here is a very good idea. Always make sure you have condoms, never go if you ahve and outbreak, and with wet papier hygeienique after you ejaculate wipe around the base of the condom, hopefully the sanitary wipe will catch anythign on the base of the condom, and using a dry piece of paper grab the ring and remove the condom. Then using another clean piece of paper immediately sipe the head of the penis opening.

Now using condom assuming it does not break (and most of the time it does not
because it is a medical device and has standards to meet) is safe 95-99% of the time. Moreover, using tips above you will be more safe. SO you are effectively reducing your risk to less than 1%
