Here is an example of body shaming. Just because a woman is thin and has a baby face does not mean she is not a real woman. You like what you like but no need to body shame like you just did here.

I want to point out English is not everyone’s first language, certainly not mine. Many get by quite well but it’s will never be mastered as if it was their first language. We can be a bit more accommodating to the language nuances.
for ex: in Mandarin, 瘦 is translated as «
skinny ». But it’s actually means slim, as small frame, healthy looking, does not have excessive fat, visible toning.
The word « skinny » was what I learned in school back in China. After arriving in Canada, someone corrected me the word « slim » is the accurate word.
I’m sure there are many exemples like this in every language
Back to OP, he actually meant ´Slim’ or ´skinny’?

I like "healthy looking" ... some meat is needed, but I don't like being able wrap my hand around "a chunk of skin"... except for boobs.
You missed the point. It is not body shaming. Skinny is different from thin.
The question was do you like skinny. I answer NO. Are we obliged to like every shapes? NO
I didn't want to offend any one. In fact being small and shopping in the kids' section doesn't mean skinny.

苗条 is the correct formal term for writing and 瘦 is more familiar language used for speaking but nowadays, unless you’re submitting important document, everyone uses familiar terms to communicate.

When i read that post, I thought he meant he is not attracted to underage girls with bodies that are still growing and not fully developed yet. Personally I didn’t found anything offensive. A text can be interpreted in many many ways.
From an evolutionary standpoint, we are programmed to be attracted indicative characteristics of the opposite gender.
Again, people have different preferences.
To me skinny is see the bone structure, not my cup of tea.

A woman that is skinny is acceptable to me. However, it is not a requirement of mine in order to have a pleasant encounter. That is merely one aspect of her. So many other variables to consider. I like looking at the entire person not just one feature or aspect.
Those skinny spinners, they're just so delicate and breakable, but hey, I don't mind! Those skinny girls usually come with small boobs and a nice booty, which is a bonus, right? But let me tell you, my limit is set at a whopping 95-100 pounds. Anything below that, well, I'm just too terrified of accidentally squashing them during our wild bedroom adventures. Safety first, you know? Gotta make sure I don't cause any unintentional injuries in the pursuit of pleasure.

Just say you like slim. "Healthy looking" doesn't mean anything. You cannot know a person's health status just by looking at them, so it's an assumption made based on nothing objective. What people will see as "healthy looking" also changes all the time and varies based on what the beauty standards happen to be at any given time in any particular culture or social norms.
Makes more sense to state what your preference is, as opposed to implying it automatically equates to health and everything else is therefore unhealthy looking or unhealthy. It also has nothing to do with health, so why even pretend it does.
Also, as others have mentioned when someone says skinny, I understand it as a synonym for thin or slim. I don't think "maigre" although I think it's the dictionary definition. Most people say skinny interchangeably with thin/slim. They mean "not fat". They don't say it thinking anorexic or cancer patient weight. They mean fitting beauty standards IMO.
