patriots will still be good, maybe they won't win 16 games this year, but they WILL still win 12. Quarterback gets too much praise when they win. There are a lot of veterans on that team.

Hey how did the chargers do yesterday?? Did it matter who thier quarterback was yesterday? an L is an L!!!

Go Pats!!

Hello Star-Man,

They sure still have a hell of a team out there and a decent quarterback will keep them in a firm contender's position. I am not sure that will be Cassel for the obvious reason he has not proven he can do it. But the reason why the Patriots don't have a solid second quarterback is Brady himself. Why would any quarterback with the true skills to start want to sit
behind the kind of durable quarterback it takes a tank, or one really bad piece of luck, to get him out. That's why they find themselves in this position. But, I think they will find someone decent, and that means they are still a very tough challenge to anyone else.

Cheers,

Korbel

You also don't win 18 games in a row without Asante Samuel who arguably is the best cb in football and his partner Randall Gay, a year younger Rodney Harrison who is the greatest safety to ever play the game and Dante Stallworth who was the best third receiver in the NFL last year.

You're as delusional here as your are in the Yankee thread Joe! Lol. BTW, where you been, it's awfully quiet over there without your comedic touch added in. :p Oh yea, your team is in 4th f'n place now!! Bwaaaahaaa!!

Vegas lines for week two are already out, Jets favored by 2.5 over the Pats and their legendary QB Cassell:p:p:p.

Pats lost the true leader. The question is how the team will hand the first loss which will happen near future. I am so glad I didn't pick him for my fantasy football team.

Who will be the best QB this year?

I feel sorry for the Pats but not for Brady. Not when this is who he will have helping him feel better:

Hello Tech,

DAAAAMNNN! I absolutely love that body type, especially when the lady is about 5"5". But, no matter how awesome his sexual prospects are, he is going to be truly hurting to have to sit out the season. If you know him, he is a true warrior, as quarterbacks go, who always wants to be in the thick of it. I remember him on the Letterman show after winning his third Super Bowl. When he was exiting Letterman said; hey, give my Colts a chance huh. Brady: "don't count on it"...lol. No one is taking it harder than him no matter how much money or which fantasy babe is there.

SHIT!

I heard that the state flag was being flown at half mast today everywhere, also I heard that every window of every home and building in Massachusetts had white towels hanging from their windows in surrender, just like Berlin at the end of World War two.:D

PS- I have it as a two way race between the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets and my Bills, next weeks game between the Jets and the Pats will be brutal.

Nice! Glad to see a fellow Bills backer on the boards.

Succeeding is defined as winning the Superbowl, second place is first loser!

And everyone knows who the first loser was in the last Super Bowl!

sorry, there is no way the pats lose to the j-e-t-s, jets jets jets this week.

just ain't gonna happen. :p i'd look for the D to pitch a shut out.

Hugh:confused:are the shroons that good in your neck of the woods?, the guy to watch this week is Moss the self admitted loafer, once he sees that Cassel won't be able to get him the ball he will shut it down for the season, just look at his career when Moss did not have a good qb throwing to him it will show that he packs it in early.

Also big mouth Schilling who is having a hard time coming to grips that his washed up ketchup stained sock career is over has gotten into the act and has predicted a victory for New England this Sunday,http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_y...F?slug=ap-schilling-newyork&prov=ap&type=lgns

I had the Pat's penciled in at 9-7 but now that Brady is out and with Moss shutting it down for the year I have them finishing one game ahead of Miami at 6-10.

Hello Joe.t,

Sorry, I am trying to be more generous to you, but if you had the Patriots at 9-7 with Brady in view of the easiest schedule in the league then your powers of evaluation need a lot of fine tuning. Oh yeah, you had the Tankess winning the World Series this year too...chordle. Really Joe, try to put away the obvious bias. "6-10" bwahahaha.

geeez,

Tom Brady's a major league jerk anyway!!!

Anyways, thinking about it more & more, i'm glad this prick's season is over. I've never liked this arrogant Republican, Bush-loving jerk who can't keep his dick in his pants & has impregnated i-don't-know how many women & dumped the last one even before she had his kid.

Go spend the season in the arms of that bimbo Giselle, you asshole!! I'm actually hoping that in a way, the Pats play as good without him!! Good riddance!!!

Hello Doc,

You have some bitter moods lately. Sorry Brady kicked Buffalo's butt so often...lol.

C'est la vie.

My hate for this guy has nothing to do with football. Everytime Dubya gave his State-of-the-Nation speech for the past few years, they always had this prick in attendance clapping at Dubya's every word. I've hated him for years because of this & that's the only reason why i was cheering for the Giants last year in the Superbowl.

I also don't have much respect for pricks who impregnate women & then dump them even before the baby's born. Yeah, that's Tom Brady for you......an arrogant, self-centered, mysogynistic human being. He's crap.

How about Joe Namath? Too old? Okay, Terry Bradshaw then. Still too old? Okay, Dan Marino!! Yeah, maybe Dan Marino!! :D :D

(It won't be Culpepper. Bellichick has never wanted a black QB.)

Hello Doc,

I'm hearing Joe.t...for team jester...lol.

Culpepper. I heard Culpepper himself make inuendo of how there seemed to be some sort of blacklisting of him by NFL teams because of his previous injuries before Brady went down. So I don't know how race enters into the equation. You seem quite cynical lately Doc.

Cheers,

Korbie

What i meant, if it needs clarification, is that there's no way Belichick will have ANY black QB as his starting QB. He's an old-school coach who thinks the starting QB has to be caucasian. I can't think of one black QB he's ever had on his roster since he's been in the NFL. So for those who think Culpepper has a shot at Brady's starting job, think again. It won't happen as long as the cheater's still coaching the Pats.

Hello Doc,

That is exactly what I thought you meant.

As for "cheater", how about giving credit where credit is due. Mangini did the same damn thing and admits it. The difference is Belichick didn't make the same federal case of it.

Cheers,

Korbie
