The greatest hockey player of all-time Bobby Orr always was, and will always be on TOP of the Boston Sports Mt. Rushmore!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKvTTSjXL0k

I would argue Larry Bird is atop Orr on that Boston Mt. Rushmore

I started a New Thread - Who is on Your Sports Mt. Rushmore?

LOL EB!...I don't see a statue of the great white hope Larry Bird outside Boston's TD Garden...but I do see one of BOBBY ORR!...Boston's finest and greatest sports figure ever!

BTW, Larry Bird was a cry baby ever since the beating he took from Magic Johnson in the NCAA 1979 Finals!!!...Magic always "Bagged the Bird"...lol!

Bird won 3 straight NBA MVPs and 3 NBA championships, and singlehandedly took a school to the NCAA finals that has been nowhere near a Final 4 in the 41 years since. I put his accomplishments next to anyone's. He is in the top 10 of the best NBA players of all time. He made teammates better in a way that very few other players in any sport have. He was arguably the best shooting forward in NBA history. And maybe also the best passing forward in NBA history as well.

With Vegas signing Marcus Mariota as an apparent reclamation project, Tom Brady's free agent destinations are drying up quickly:

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28913709/source-qb-marcus-mariota-agrees-deal-raiders

It's basically down to the Chargers and Patriots for Brady now. Brady's leverage is slipping away..........Belichik can now bitchslap Brady with a lowball offer and then offer Phil Rivers the same deal in case Brady says no. I see the Chargers drafting a QB and using Ty Taylor until the backup is ready.

Brady is about to get ass-fucked and when he finds out he is not worth what he thinks he is, he might just retire and say fuck you to the NFL.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen hit the beach in Costa Rica amid coronavirus outbreak
https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/tom-brady-gisele-bundchen-beach-costa-rica.amp
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen aren't letting coronavirus stop their beach vacation in Costa Rica.

The NFL star and his model wife were snapped enjoying the sun and water as they walking along the beach. Brady, 42, wore a white t-shirt and swim trunks while Bundchen, 39, donned a teeny-tiny navy bikini.

The couple held hands and kissed as their future is up in the air since Brady hasn't committed to a football team yet.....

You go Tom, you GO!

He should stay put IMO . Collect one last fat paycheque and retire a NE Patriot
Then as a senior citizen he should learn a bit of Portuguese and take his trophy wife on a trip to Brazil . Live the good life basically and concentrate on being a full time dad . That sort of stuff assuming he and Gisele survive corvid-19 down in Tico land

Mariota was signed purely as a back up

Not sure I agree with this statement. This kid was an overall #2 draft selection, and his development has been slowed by injuries, musical chairs game of offensive coordinators and growing pains. Mayock wanted to draft him #1 in 2015 and the lust has not abated. I have not read the financials on his signing, but he will be given a chance to compete for the job and it would not surprise me if he emerges as the starter. He is a guy who has to be given good protection. I still believe he will develop into an NFL starter, as he has all the attributes to be a successful NFL starting QB and strong leadership qualities. He is only 26 and just has not put it together yet.

Tom Brady Announces He’s Leaving Patriots, Thanks Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft
https://nesn.com/2020/03/tom-brady-announces-he-is-leaving-patriots-thanks-organization/amp/

Tom Brady’s unrivaled New England Patriots tenure has come to an end.
The 42-year-old quarterback announced Tuesday morning he is leaving the Patriots in free agency. In a statement posted on his social media channels, he thanked Patriots coach Bill Belichick, team owner Robert Kraft and other members of the New England organization.
“I cherished every opportunity I had to be a part of our team, and I love you all for that,” Brady wrote. “… Although my football journey will take place elsewhere, I appreciate everything that we have achieved and am grateful for our incredible TEAM accomplishments.”

Robert Kraft Releases Statement On Tom Brady: ‘I Love Him Like A Son’
https://boston.cbslocal.com/2020/03...FNpbDVVS19HQ0JKcnVmRGtpdW51aTBZdkZ1UjZiWE5xcQ..
BOSTON (CBS) — On Tuesday morning, Tom Brady stunned the sports world with an announcement that said he is leaving the Patriots after 20 years together.

Shortly after that statement made waves, Robert Kraft made a statement of his own.

“Tommy initiated contact last night and came over,” Kraft told ESPN’s Mike Reiss. “We had a positive, respectful discussion. It’s not the way I want it to end, but I want him to do what is in his best personal interest. After 20 years with us, he has earned that right. I love him like a son.”

Brady and Kraft obviously developed a tremendous relationship during their 20 years together, winning six Super Bowls along the way.

The decision about a contract, however, reportedly fell on the shoulders of Bill Belichick. Some speculated that if Belichick wanted to move on from Brady, Kraft might step in to ensure that Brady remained a Patriot for his entire career. Alas, Brady’s announcement and Kraft’s statement indicated that both men accepted that this is the end of the road.

Robert21,

Do you seriously believe that those mutual love letters exchanged by Brady and Kraft are the truth of the mutual feelings? I guarantee you that Brady left that meeting last night seething with anger, muttering to himself, “that cheapass slut hand job loving mutha fuckaaaa!” Those statements are PR for fanboys like you, who can unquestioningly accept them sentimentally as truth rather than pure bullshit. Brady has some pride issues, and I think him issuing that statement was exceedingly stupid, as it is in his negotiating interest to let any free agent suitor think New England is in play. It was an angry, emotional, misguided mistake. DUMB. Never let other teams know one team is not in play.

LOL!...Kraft is a cheap-ass MF...of course he was not going to pay up for Brady...the bottom line is why pay millions and millions for a 40-year old QB past his prime....when Kraft can use that extra money and go to the Orchids of Asia Spa and get a hand job every weekend!...lol!
