My hate for this guy has nothing to do with football. Everytime Dubya gave his State-of-the-Nation speech for the past few years, they always had this prick in attendance clapping at Dubya's every word. I've hated him for years because of this & that's the only reason why i was cheering for the Giants last year in the Superbowl.

I also don't have much respect for pricks who impregnate women & then dump them even before the baby's born. Yeah, that's Tom Brady for you......an arrogant, self-centered, mysogynistic human being. He's crap.

Hello Doc,

I'll send you a case of marshmallows for the effigy burnings. Just let me know how often.

So you would marry a woman you did not love and accidentally got pregnant, and happily spend the rest of your life with her. Okay...sure.

Cheers,

Korbel

Speaking for myself, i wouldn't marry her if i wasn't in love with her. But i wouldn't dump her while she was pregnant with my baby. Maybe that's what you'd do, but i would never do that. I'd do the responsible thing & stick by her at least until the baby's born. I'd do the right thing.

Anyways, i'm glad this prick's season is over & I hope he misses the next season also. It will give him enough time to get Gisele Bundchen pregnant & then maybe he can dump her also, just like he dumped Bridget Moynahan after her impregnated her. I hope someone tells his kid about it one day when he's old enough to understand what kind of person his dead-beat father really is.

You would be speaking of Ray Lucas, who Parcells LOVED, and yes he did kind of suck:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Lucas

"Lucas was a favorite player of Bill Parcells during Parcells' time in New England and with the Jets, and was one of the players Parcells eventually brought over from the Patriots to the Jets. Parcells introduced Lucas in 1997 by putting him in at quarterback with second string QB Neil O'Donnell lined up at wide receiver. Lucas set up in a shotgun formation and ran the ball himself for 15 yards, befuddling the Vikings defense in a play that eventually led to a Jets victory. He attempted his first NFL pass in Week 17 of 1997 against the Detroit Lions. Lucas went 3 of 3 for 28 yards before throwing an interception. He was also called for a personal foul when making the tackle on the interception return. Lucas started in the Jets' 1999 preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers, and Parcells had him in the running for the starting and second string quarterback role during that season. After starting QB Vinny Testaverde was injured later that season, Lucas started several games."

Yeah, Tom dumped Bridget Moynahan. He bailed out soon after finding out she was pregnant. Real class act this Tom Brady fellow.

As for Ray Lucas, he did play for Parcells, but i'm not sure if Billy The Cheater was still with the Jets when he was on board. And even if he was, Belichick was the defensive coordinator at the time & had no say on offensive matters.

My impression of Brady is that he has a low IQ, he even sounds retarded and I am glad the goof ball is done for the year because now we don't have to hear about Giselle anymore who I think is very overrated, its to the point now where they can't talk about Brady without mentioning Giselle, at the top of my head I can think of ten sp's in Montreal that I would rather bang then that bag of bones, this will be the painful start of the decline for New England who have one of the oldest teams in the league, I'm predicting right know that my Bills will spank them silly both times they meet, I am just salivating at the thought of Ellis(toast)Hobbs lining up again Lee Evans.

Doc this is one of those rare times where you and I are in complete agreement: Brady is a real prick. (Maybe that's why he fits in so well with the Pats.)

I'm in total agreement with you on this one, Joe T. I never got what others saw in Giselle Bundchen. There's at least two dozen sps in Mtl i'd rather bang than that sack-of-bones.

As for Brady, i believe that he wouldn't be able to start with half the teams in the NFL. Yes, he's a very good QB. But i believe this has more to do with playing in Belichick's system than it has to do with ability. I doubt he could perform as good as he has with other teams in the league. He's also spent the most part of his career on very good Patriot teams....hey, who wouldn't like to throw the ball to Randy Moss on a regular basis?

Geez Doc, now you're just showing Joe.t ignorance on this statement. The other stuff, kinda funny, this, just asinine. I'm sure you'd hate to see him leading those Bills of yours next season? LOL.

What i meant, if it needs clarification, is that there's no way Belichick will have ANY black QB as his starting QB. He's an old-school coach who thinks the starting QB has to be caucasian. I can't think of one black QB he's ever had on his roster since he's been in the NFL. So for those who think Culpepper has a shot at Brady's starting job, think again. It won't happen as long as the cheater's still coaching the Pats.

Michael Bishop was a quarterback on the 2000 New England Patriots with Bill Belichick as a head coach. An NFL will keep a rookie quarterback only if he projects as a starter down the road.

As for the Cassels vs Culpepper discussion. Cassels has been with the Patriots day in day out for a number of years, sitting in with Tom Brady and the offensive coaches in every meeting so he has absorbed how Tom Brady runs, thinks, prepares, etc the Patriot offense. It is now up to him to execute.
Regardless of how good another free agent quarterback may be he will not be able to assimilate the knowledge that Matt Cassels has acquired over the years in the time of a few days or weeks. BTW the reason certain former NFL quarterbacks are healthy free agents at this time is that 32 NFL teams decided that they have a better chance of winning without them. Simple.

Geeez Doc,

Could you point out to me which of the Patriots winning Super Bowl teams of 2001, 2003, 2004 that Randy Moss played on. Damn Doc, I have been a Patriots fan for 38 years and I just can't name one team where Randy Moss helped the Patriots win the Super Bowl. But I can name one he was on where they lost, 2007. On the Patriots 2006 team, Brady led them with pure guts to within one stinking dropped ball of a Super Bowl that year despite many key injuries and a very average to poor receiving corps.

But the real trouble with your evaluation of Brady is severe bias. You already said how much you hate him, so how can you pretend to have any objectivity. Really Doc, Special K was right. This sounds like Joe.t hating the Sox.

Cheers,

Korbie

I'm surprised to hear this. I thought he had joined the CFL right after leaving college. Did he play any games under Belichick?

I never said Brady stunk as a QB. All i said was that he owes a lot of his success to the system he plays in. I doubt he'd be as successful as he's been if he were playing for another team. There are many great QBs in NFL history which i feel are in the same boat as Brady: Terry Bradshaw, Ken Stabler, Roger Staubach, etc. They were a perfect fit for the offense they played in.

I honestly wouldn't see him perform as good in a Bills uniform. We saw this with Bledsoe....very good with the Pats when he played for them, very average with the Bills later.

No disrespect to Brady, but yes, i do think he's very overrated. But he's a perfect fit for the offensive system he plays in. Then take the best 10 QBs in the NFL & put them in the Patriot offense & they probably would have a hard time matching Brady's success. Put Brady in their offense on their respective teams & he might be a total bust.

Hello Doc,

Do you remember 2001? I do. I don't think you do. This year offered the best comparison between the two quarterbacks since they dealt with the same team in the same system in the same year. With Bledsoe the Patriots were truly lackluster going 2-5 in the first seven games and going nowhere. With Brady, who never started a pro game before, they went undefeated right through to winning the Super Bowl.

Case closed, :D

More knee problems for Brady....Pats very upset at his choice of doctors

Brady has more procedures for infection; Pats angry with situation

Doctors are aggressively fighting an infection in Tom Brady's surgically repaired left knee.

The story was first reported by the Boston Herald and comfirmed by ESPN's Wendi Nix.

The Patriots, as an organization, are angry with the situation because they were clear that they wanted Brady's surgery done under the direction of doctors of their choosing in Boston, sources told ESPN.

Instead, Brady opted to have the surgery in California by a doctor his family preferred, and now there are major problems. Brady was supposed to be back in New England by now, but a timeline for his return remains unclear.

Brady recently acknowledged on his Web site that doctors went in "to clean and to test the wound" on Oct. 15 because of the infection. The New England Patriots quarterback has had two more similar procedures since then.

If the infection is not brought under control, the patellar tendon graft used to replace Brady's anterior cruciate ligament could become compromised. If that happens, he will have to undergo another surgery on the ACL. That would reset the clock on his rehabilitation.

Brady had surgery on Oct. 6, 29 days after he was injured in the Patriots' season opener, on a hit by Kansas City Chiefs safety Bernard Pollard. Brady reportedly tore the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in the knee.

Not a good sign, it looks like to me that Brady wants to live and play in the west coast so he can date all those air headed models and movie stars, I would not be surprised to see him starting for a California based team in two years.

Retirement for Brady the answer to that is no. However the chances for him to
be back in the Patriots line up in 2009 are not good.

And trust that Brady is not going anywhere but Boston. When he retires
from Football, it will be in the Patriots Uniforme !!!
