Economic Effects of the Vancouver Olympics on Montreal

I wonder if the Vancouver Olymics is having a positive spillover effect on Montreal and her Hobbyland. I imagine the SP's in Vancouver are inundated with hobbyists. Those SP's must be cleaning up well. What say you?

I would bet that the Olympics has a damper effect on the SP's in Vancouver during the Olympics.

The hotels are expensive. The people visitng are not there to hobby, but to see the games. The tickets to the games are expensive.

I don't think Vancouver is a wonderland for hobbying in the next few weeks.

I think its the opposite, more people into the city will likely mean more "johns"
I wouldnt be surprised if SP's from other nearby cities went to Vancouver for a few weeks to make extra $

I live and hobby in Vancouver (But Montreal is the Best). I don't think there has been any significant impact due to olympics. The Sp's fees are still the same and they always seem to be available.
I doubt if there would be any impact in Montreal.
