If you have so little pride in your culture and heritage that you'd purposefully NOT make an effort towards quality communications, so be it. No one will force you, however the market will sift you out and leave you on the side of the road while the others, who are more respectful of their heritage and language and of others carry on and scoop up all of life's goodies.

Oh and no one expects someone with a name like andrew to be an expert of the French language and what's prickish or not about proper use of our threatened language and culture.

Incredibly prickish response I'd say although I'd expect no less. The funny thing about internet arguments is that even the winner looks like an idiot. If you people want to poke holes in each other's use of the language, go ahead. After reading pages of you nit-picking each others grammar, there is no way for you to come off as someone who picks up any goodies in life what-so ever. Picking apart someone's grammar makes you look like a miserable jerk. Go ahead and prove me wrong but perhaps we can return to the subject?

I also find it amusing that with a name like "My dingaling", you would have anything to say about anyone's name. Are you going argue that a dingaling is not a prick?
