In a hotel the guy cannot install one way mirrors, drill holes in the walls and ceilings, or hide equipment in the furniture. Not so in a house.
In a hotel there is at least one witness who saw you check in, and probably a credit card and video surveillance record of your visit. Not so in a house.
In a hotel it is unlikely that two other guys can be hiding undetected waiting to beat/rob you. Not so in a house.
etc.
Hotels are way safer for both the client and the SP.
Not to mention that hotels also have security personnel who will respond to a disturbance a whole lot quicker than cops to a private residence. We are talking in seconds rather than minutes. When I was in the lobby of a certain Montreal hotel after getting locked out of my room wearing only my underwear, security was on me in 2 seconds, and my only concern in that 2 seconds of my life was getting an explanation out of my mouth before the big security gorilla tackled me and broke my kneecaps.
Hey Porter, while walking around your own house in your underwear, did a big security goon ever try to tackle you?
Escorts being safer going to hotels than to privates residences is an absolute no brainer and non-issue.
