In a hotel you can yell and be heard in the hallways and the rooms next door. Not so in a house.

In a hotel the guy cannot install one way mirrors, drill holes in the walls and ceilings, or hide equipment in the furniture. Not so in a house.

In a hotel there is at least one witness who saw you check in, and probably a credit card and video surveillance record of your visit. Not so in a house.

In a hotel it is unlikely that two other guys can be hiding undetected waiting to beat/rob you. Not so in a house.

etc.

Hotels are way safer for both the client and the SP.

Not to mention that hotels also have security personnel who will respond to a disturbance a whole lot quicker than cops to a private residence. We are talking in seconds rather than minutes. When I was in the lobby of a certain Montreal hotel after getting locked out of my room wearing only my underwear, security was on me in 2 seconds, and my only concern in that 2 seconds of my life was getting an explanation out of my mouth before the big security gorilla tackled me and broke my kneecaps.

Hey Porter, while walking around your own house in your underwear, did a big security goon ever try to tackle you?

Escorts being safer going to hotels than to privates residences is an absolute no brainer and non-issue.

Like Blackjackmac, the shower thing astounds me. You are in a hotel with little else to do but watch TV and there's a shower a few feet away with free water and free soap. What kind of a jackass would not be bothered to take a shower before the lady arrives?

Talk about common courtesy.

Impressive!!!

I just love this board!

Anyways... Trimed nails are not an issue... Even long nails are ok, but sand them, please! Even short ones can do a real disaster!

Such as a 2 days beard... Ouch!!!

The residence issue...

I understand that AGENCIES are going to residences... They have security and everything...

But for Indies, we can only count on ourselves, and the hotel protection... There's always somebody to help us in case of real danger...

Also, beiing in a public environment discourage certain behaviors...

Thanks to all for this thread! As you can see from my recent post, I'm coming this weekend with 3 friends for a small bachelor party and am trying to get a quick crash course in etiquette in Montreal. Thank you! I hope some of you respond to my thread, but I will do my best to keep reading!

New hobbyist and this forum has been immensely helpful! For the agencies that offer incall, when they list the rate, is there an expected tip to the SP of the same amount? I understand that sometimes tips will be expected for Greek, BBBJ etc, I'm wondering if the listed rate will cover 'basic' complete service.

With this post and thread I want to offer the etiquette for clients who meet SPs. Post your suggestions and it would be cool if it remained as a sticky.

* Making an appointment:

Do research by reading the spreadsheet located at http://www.sexwork.com/montreal/spreadsheet.html as well as reviews on boards like this one. The idea is that this way you shouldn’t be scammed or fall on a lady that doesn’t meet your requirements in terms of service or appearance;

Don’t send rude, obnoxious detailed emails to SPs, they are deleted and not returned. Be polite if you contact them by phone, your conversation is like an interview. Make your inquiries through backchannels whenever possible. You may ask about a SP's services if you know beforehand that this agency is okay with it. That’s what research is for;

If you have certain preferences (schoolgirl fantasy, stockings, pigtails, thong, etc.), mention this when booking, especially in advance;

Give your address or hotel info as well as a phone number where you can be reached should there be a last minute problem;

* The date:

Tidy up your apartment or hotel room to make a good first impression;

Turn the porch light on so that she can easily find the house;

Dress up. You don’t need a suit but don’t look like a slob;

Take a shower before she arrives and make sure you smell nice all over. Brush your teeth and trim your nails;

Place your gift in an unsealed envelope, in a place where she'll notice it. Don't count it out, show her where it is and go wash your hands;

Be considerate and don’t ask questions that are too personal or possibly embarrassing like how much money she makes. Escorts are women and they should be treated like women;

If the escort is more than half an hour late, call her or the agency to check on her status;

Offer refreshments and possibly snacks as well. It breaks the ice and alcohol can loosen the both of you up;

* Afterwards:

If you meet the lady at some future time on the street, you may smile politely, like you would any other woman, but don’t approach her as it could blow her cover with her friends and family. Let her make the first move;

Don’t call out her name for the same reason, it's most likely not her real name anyway.
Regarding The date part, would it be different if it‘s Incall?

You’ve got it down sir! That’s exactly what we expect of gentleman! (For the uncut men, pull back the foreskin and wash thoroughly.. it makes a difference in the quality of the bj/Bbbj you’ll receive. And make sure the nails are cut and filed if you’d like to touch the kitty cat)

Yes thank you but sometimes I have seen Sp who smells very bad or cigarette smell I wonder if all Sp takes showers in between!?
Speaking for myself and my friends in the industry.. as an independent yes I shower in between.. but when I was working for an agency if they scheduled our appointments too close together.. sometimes we did our best with baby wipes or a rag .

Here is my two cents worth of advice….. I make sure to take a shower before hand, not just a quick one either, hair, and a close shave also.Face stubble can be quite rough on your partners sensitive areas. Cleaned and trimmed finger nails also get the once over.I carry a small spritzer bottle of mouth wash also with me….you don’t like kissing an ashtray….neither does you partner. Hygiene goes a long way in this hobby….. dont’t expect great service if you smell like you just finished a marathon. Over the years I have been seeing the same provider on a regular basis. Every once in awhile, I bring her a small box of chocolates or a bottle of wine as a sign of appreciation…it speaks volumes to a provider. It says I value our time together. The last thing I can say is treat them with respect…while the main objective for doing this profession is for monetary reasons, some of them develop friendships and feelings for their clients along the way. Happy hobbying!!!

For me, hotel and incalls are a more neutral space and I prefer them,

- Soap ALL the hair.
- Paying the donation in 5$ and 10$ bills, is not ok. As it's not to not have the full donation or to ask for credit.

Hummm that got me questioning. Do you mean everything in 5 and 10$? Did it happen to you that someone did that? Cause even for an agency donation of 250 or so, it does make a lot of bills and i see no reasons why someone would do it. The distributors gives 20s ... Personally it happened to me a few times i had some left over from paying in a store or whatever and i gave lets say 220 in 20s and 3 bills of 10, or 2 bills of 10 and 2 of 5... But that would be just a few ones. Even tough money is money i understand you want to carry as less bills as possibles.

This remind me of a story, i can't recall who said it to me, it was one of the bookers in Montreal, told me someone actually ended a jar of change to his date after a meeting. Like litterally change including 25 cents, 1$ and such. Girl was of course pissed and called him, so he made it there and he counted all the change in front of the client. Think he paid the girl in normal bills too and took the change himself.

On to the other point, what you mean by soap all the hair? Hair on the head or body hair? Personally i try to remove as much body hair as possible lol.

As for incalls, the general rule is to shower at home toroughly before going and doing a quick shower refresh there. Still in the heat summer, i feel even if you washed before going, you may need a longer refresh. Well depend on how you get there obviously. If you go by car with conditioned air, it may be less of an issue but by subway... arg. Thats one of the reason why outcall is so much favored in my case. I just love taking my time to prepare myself and be 100% ready when i hear the knock on the door. I know outcalls do not have the same popularity in Montreal as they used to, and i understand for the locals its $ saved instead of paying an hotel room (if they don't wanna see the provider in their home, or if she do not want to go there), but someone like me who has to sleep somewhere anyway, its just so much more enjoyable.

Damn! That is disgusting to me as I like to use my mouth everywhere! Never been a big fan of those agency incalls and thats nothing to convince me to use them more!

This thread feels good to read because it reminds that there's clients that understand that a successful and fun encounter is like a team dance. It also shows that we are all concern by similar things : hygiene and safety.

For me, hotel and incalls are a more neutral space and I prefer them, but I think it's mainly about following the gut feeling. After a first date in an incall or an hotel, I am open to other spaces. I understand that some people don't want to host in their home. Other then providers an established, I would not have anyone else over for sex.

The followings I want to add are basic, but not universally known :
- Asking if the shower is mandatory is a burner (for most of us). If you had shower at home, it should 5 mins to refresh.
- Soap ALL the hair.
- Paying the donation in 5$ and 10$ bills, is not ok. As it's not to not have the full donation or to ask for credit.
- Please, have your dental calculus removed once a year :)
What do you mean. All the hair?
Dental calculus?

Hello all. I'm visiting Montreal during the first week of May. I like to know what's the rules/expectation on kissing knowing that COVID can be transmitted via saliva? Do I need to ask the provider or at this point everybody feels comfortable enough?

Also, is it OK to ask the provider to run a rapid 15 min COVID test before beginning the session? Or is this unreasonable to ask...

Any comments are appreciated. Thanks!
