GREAT GREAT WIN/MOMENT for LEWIS at home, in full control...........sa 9ème victoire à SILVERSTONE......un record absolu sur ce circuit mythique....MAX bon 2ème et un NORRIS déçu qui complète le podium.....bref une bonne course avec des surprises....
comme on les aime....lol
Vive la pluie! Bravo Lewis! Lol!

Isn’t it too late for him to change his mind? Hasn’t the contract with Ferrari been signed already?

I saw and heard lots of praise and tremendous outpourings of love by Hamilton towards his team. It sounds like he really does love them. It reminds me of this song:
Unfortunately, love didn't keep Captain and Tennille together- she divorced his ass, and later accused him of mental cruelty and abuse. And I don't know if it will keep Hamilton together with that team.

We never know. Especially if him and Russell keep finishing on the podium for the next race. His seat is still available at Mercedes. Lol!

Right now Mercedez has a better car than the Ferrari. As for the Red Bulls car i have no idea how good it is. I think Verstappen makes the car look better than it actually is. Or has Perez become such a bad driver & makes the car look worse than it really is? McLaren has a great car & the team’s strategic mistakes are to blame for not turning out better results lately.

Are you guys suggesting that Hamilton's contract with Ferrari has an escape clause if the Ferrari car sucks or Mercedes' car is better?
I wouldn’t be surprised if there was such option in his contract. Being a former several times champion, I believe he gets a lot of latitude when negotiating for a contract.

HONGRIE/HUNGARIAN GP.....another great day/success in qualif. for McLAREN with NORRIS--PIASTRI on top.....suivi de MAX et SAINZ...will watch tomorrow avec une température incertaine qui devrait ajouter au spectacle.

Tomorrow’s race looks very promising. If McLaren doesn’t screw up the race for their drivers they both may end up on the podium. Russell didn’t make it to Q2 due to making the wrong strategic decisions & should have made it to Q3. As for Cheko he crashed in Q1 & i think his chances of returning with the team next season are close to nil. Both Aston-Martin cars performed quite well & may actually contend tomorrow.

What a race it was indeed! It was probably my favorite race to watch this season!

I understand the frustration with Norris having to give up his spot but this were decisions made by the team & had they pitted Piastri first there would have been no controversy so that one is on the team as much as on Norris. But this decision may end up costing Norris at the emd of the season of Verstappen ends up winning the championship by a few points. However the bottom line is that the drivers work for the teams & not vice-versa & when the bosses give you an order you must obey that order. It was unfortunate that Piastri had to win his first GP under such circumstances, though.

As for Max I’m starting to sour on his childish attitude. He’s starting to sound like a spoiled brat & with him & his father stirring up controversy i’m not sure i’d want him on my team of i were RB. I mean it’s always whining & whining every single race & always blaming the other guy even when they win!

Nice seeing Hamilton get a podium again. He’s been such a class act this season & i’ll be pulling for him & Ferrari mext season. Speaking of Ferrari Charles Leclerc performed very well today. He’s another class act in the F1 field & with guys like him, Lando Norris & George Russell it’s hard to root against these guys.

Next week they’re racing at Spa which should be another good one!

Russell was stripped of his win after his car was disqualified for being too light. This means that Lewis Hamilton os the official wimmer of the Grand Prix with Oscar Piastri 2nd & Charles Leclerc getting 3rd place.
How could his team make such mistake ?

It was an incredibly dumb mistake by the Mercedez team & Toto Wolfe has apologized to George Russell on the team’s behalf for robbing him of his GP win. I don’t recall this ever happening previously. It wouldn’t surprise me if a lesser team would do on purpose in order to possibly gain an advantage but Mercedez? No way!
