Getting around?

Hey guys, I'll be driving to Montreal from the midwest USA. I'm staying at a place about an hour north of Montreal, but will be making some trips into the city. How difficult is it to get around? Am I better off finding public parking and taking a bus or subway into town?

Really depends on where you want to go and where you're staying. But in general you are better off not driving in Downtown Montreal.
