Lol! Renaud Lavoie pu capable !

Ok apres 3 fois j'pense qu'on a compris!

Habs just have a lack of offensive talent, all the can do is dump and chase and hope they can get the puck in the other end ,I also think we are being out coached

JUST WIN BABY! GO HABS GO!

As soon as Galchenyuk made that pass I knew the game was over. By the time the pass hit Caufield's stick I had yelled out, "that's game!" That being said, I feel terrible for Galchenyuk because that has to be one of the most mindless passes I ever saw. I was wondering if any of you guys sent him empathetic messages on social media? Honestly, I do not even know what you could say to him about that pass.

If I may be so bold as to criticize Caufield, I think he should have taken the shot, in that situation he had a better angle to put power moves and a power shot on Jack "Soup" Campbell, but instead a cute pass to Suzuki which honestly took Suzuki by surprise. But Suzuki recovered quickly to score a goal off a sudden and unexpected pass. I wonder if the Montreal coaches, after all the hysteria died down, talked to Caufield about being a little more selfish, holding the puck longer, faking the pass to Suzuki, getting Campbell to cheat towards Suzuki's side, and then hit Campbell with a power shot high to his left once Campbell cheats right towards Suzuki's side?

If I may be so bold as to criticize Caufield, I think he should have taken the shot,
Gulchenyak is going for revenge since he's got the opportunity to do some damage to his former team, after
the previous game performance I think he was feeling that he was "The Man" ...

Caufield pass (Or should have not ???), do we really care about how many passes as long as the puck goes in,
we are having tough time to score, so now we gonna criticize our passing game ???

Looking forward for two though matches (With improved, unnecessary passing and all) etc etc .

Just a Friday morning after Habs winning relieved response here.

The "objective" announcers on NBCSN were questioning whether Caufield should have passed, so it was not something I made up. It was a 2-0 break, and of course you have to score on it and it doesn't matter how, but paying attention to smaller details is what determines what side of the line you are on between winning and losing tight games. And the fact of the matter is Suzuki was surprised to have received that pass, go watch the replay. It's a credit to him that he put it away.

Sports announcers/analysts are there to fill in the silence. Not the first time and last time we hear pointless/stupid comments from them.

I don't believe Suzuki was surprised... rather the puck was a bit forward and not flat... he had to take the shot a bit on a weird angle...

Still that was definitely the play to make... move the goalie three times he's doomed for sure. They would have been benched if these two passes weren't there...

Who cares about an American network analysis on a MTL board?
And you certainly saw your ex-Whalers win their playoff against Predators at that same network and in route to potentialy win another cup away from Hartford! ;)

I am a Rangers fan, not a Whalers fan- your geography is off because I was much closer to NYC than Hartford at that time. I went to one Whalers game the entire time they played in CT, in 1986, against the Habs. Montreal won the game and all of the fights in the game, and Chris Nilan was in the middle of all of those fights. Do you even remember him? The Habs won the Stanley Cup later that year. I suspect some of you guys (except Cruiser) were not born or still breast feeding at that time. Other than Cruiser, who in this thread actually saw the 1986 Habs play?

Oh hell yeah I saw them win that year... I turned 10 just 2 months later... that was awesome... what a series that was... Claude Lemieux goal was the best I've seen!!! Not pretty but it counts!!!

You should mentioned that some might not even seen their last cup in 93;)

Don't worry! I'm old enough to remember very well 1986 playoffs and the Habs cup! ;)

So what about you go troll yourself on a NYR fan thread?
