Tonight everything went downhill, there is a big problem with their confidence when they get pressured in their zone. It seems like the entire league has the forechecking strategy to get them nervous and start to make lethal mistakes.
Last night against the Sharks was the first game i went to for i don't know how many years. My niece was curious about hockey so we organized something with the family.
Relatively cheap tickets and the worst team in the league.....what could go wrong?
At least the last 5 minutes were exciting, and the niece had fun.

Jake Allen has actually been the worse one of the three & with the team most likely missing the playoffs again he’ll likely ne the one to be shipped away. The lack of playing time may also have played a part in his sub-par performances but it likely also hurt both Monty & Primeau’s effectiveness. Hughes is likely being a bit greedy hoping to get a bigger return but hopefully he realizes that the window to trade Allen may not be better than it is now & the return he’ll get may never be better than what he’s been offered now. Plus teams quickly falling out of contention may decide to jump the gun & put their own goalies on the block.

Starting tonight the Habs have the 5th toughest schedule for the rest of the regular season. This must make Kent Hughes & Jeff Gorton extremely happy since the last thing they’re hoping for is for the team to have any chance of making the playoffs since they’re very aware that fans & media pressure could coax ownership into forcing them to accelerate their plans of getting competitive.
Joshua Roy fera son entrée ce soir, entouré de Monahan et Armia! Je pense que c’est un bon choix de MSL pour lui donner le plus de chances de se faire valoir. Comme premier match en LNH il doit oublier les notions de performances et la peur de commettre des erreurs. Il devra tenter de s’amuser au maximum et profiter de son moment car je suis certain que les spectateurs vont l’accueillir chaleureusement.
C’est une tête brûlée, guerre de mots avec MSL par journalistes interposés lors de sa rétrogradation à Laval. Au lieu de défoncer la AHL il a préférer bouder les premières semaines. Son hamburger lui a monté à la tête! Juste le fait que Mailloux se démarque plus que lui en dit long sur son état d’esprit.
En ce moment il a plus de chance de retourner chez Costco que dans le vestiaire du Canadien.

The problem with that kind of play is that it was that initially it was ruled to ne a goal. Therefore for the play to be reversed on videoplay you need concrete evidence and this certainly was not the case. Had the goal been initially ruled no goal the no goal ruling likely would have remained.
Anyways the Habs were once again badly outshot and the only reason the score was kept close was Monty.
I’m not saying that they should have won or that they deserved to win but, imo after watching many angles replays, it is quite obvious that the player intentionally hit and pushed in Monty’s stick and right arm with his leg, resulting in putting him off balance and, therefore, making it impossible for him to keep his attention on his left hand to properly cover the puck.

Le premier trio a joué un très gros match ce soir et Matheson avec 28 minutes est une vraie machine!

Big win on the Wildcard hierarchy tonight. It was a "close the gap or get left behind" game. We got the 2 points and NJD nothing.
Not that i have much hope of a playoff run, but i still have some fun looking at the rankings.
