Ça va être très important de commencer à gagner les matchs contre notre division. Et aussi, d’arrêter de se rendre en prolongation, il faut qu’ils apprennent à gagner à 5 contre 5, en séries éliminatoires les prolongations se jouent à 5 vs 5!

Un autre must-win ce soir contre Washington. Nous avons quand même 3 matchs en main sur eux, mais il y a du monde dans le rétroviseur! Buffalo et Boston sont aussi à surveiller.
Caufield a maintenant 33 buts et c'est de plus en plus probable qu'il dépasse les 40 cette année, avec 24 matchs à jouer. Une belle statistique!

Dans l'est Buffalo n'est plus arrêtable et c'est tellement serré devant et derrière.....notre avantage est qu'on a un ou deux matchs en mains sur plusieurs clubs, mais il faudrait en profiter.
Si je philosophe un peu, s'il faut perdre quelques matchs, vaudrait mieux que ce soit contre des équipes de l'ouest. Mais il y a certainement une fin de saison excitante (ou frustrante) en vue.

C’est difficile de prévoir ce qui va se passer d’un match à l’autre avec nos 2 super gardiens!
These Habs - Leafs matchups have started going Montreal's way. They now have a better team than Toronto. It took a while but these are teams that are headed in opposite directions. Toronto is on their way down, and Montreal is on their way up.
The Return of Fowler. Great game, playoff atmosphere and physical. Fowler really put up a wall at the end. Was hoping they sent him down earlier in the season with the intent to bring him back. Fowler and Dobes sounds like a fun goal tending tandem to potentially head into the playoffs with.
The Habs certainly seem to have a better goaltending tandem than at any time since the halcyon days of Carey Price. We will need to see how these guys develop and handle playoff pressure. Will one of them step up and play like Connor Hellebuyck did at the Olympics? That was a Big Balls full tournament performance by the Helleraiser after shaky NHL playoff performances in the past. However it is not unprecedented for a younger goalie to do the same- recall Jordan Binnington around 7 years ago carrying St. Louis to the Cup and going back further in time, a young Kenny Dryden did it for the Habs in 1971, as the oldtimers may remember. So it can happen.
And even if not this year ''THE'' year, future is very bright with this goaltending of Fowler/Dobes and the young talented, motivated group in front of them who will learn this year imo and gain in maturity plus couple new addition for a good run in playoff for many years to come

But stats are stats until they happen for real. I'll be more than happy if he reaches 45.
No matter what, Cole is one hell of a goal scorer. So glad we have him.
