Detroit and Boston are the 2 EC Wild Card teams, as of today. But in hot pursuit and right behind Montreal. You want to keep Boston behind you and not allow them to leapfrog you with 2 points from a win. Possibly pushing Montreal down to a WC. So it's a big game and Montreal wants to send Boston back to Beantown with no points.
