Has the STM strike has had an adverse effect on your SP business or hobbying plans.

Other areas of the economy are already starting to feel the pinch in their levels of business.

No, have my own vehicle. However I stay away from the Orange Cones and traffic congestion. Which means, no more: Plateau, downtown , Griffintown, Old Montreal , South Shore (Champlain bridge) and anything going east of HWY 15. (from West Island)
Not sure I want to drive 60-90 minutes for a hour session and drive back, and total time 4 hours. Not including trying to find parking space when you get their. So has my hobby diminished... YES .To use the REM and STM metro , SP should start giving their Metro station location and time to walk to their location, taken in account that they are not going to be late late on appointment schedule time, with winter coming, it gets cold staying outside and wait . And my wife doesn't appreciate in calls :p:p

I'm wondering if the REM is launching in strike mode lol
REM can strike at any day when service is down :D

I agree on this. If SP provide in advance closest Metro location, it does gives an idea of the distance to avoid late appointment, etc. It also avoid doing multiples searches for the hobbies or urges.

But hey, at the same time, it's November, you can always go full monk mode :)

I was just there visiting and ya, it sucked not having regular Metro access but I managed. Montreal is a pretty walkable city compared to where I come from but not having it in some spots definitely didn't create for ideal situations. For your sakes I hope they resolve it soon because not having it in the winter will definitely create hardship. Nobody wants to have to walk long distances with sub zero temps and windchill.

No it hasn't, but this thread gave me the idea to remove the 45 minute and massage options for the duration of the strike because no point in going to my incall for less than 1 hour GFE..

I was there this weekend and it didn't impede me (bc I drove) but both companions I saw had timing issues bc of it which, if I'm being honest, I didn't mind. It was strange that they were at the hotel early and I had to make one wait only just so I could take a quick shower they were there so early. For the briefest of moments I felt like what an sp feels like when a client shows up 20 min early to an incall.

More importantly how it affected going to work. Many like me do not work Mon to Fri 9 to 5 so it is a nightmare to get to work. Last weekend I had to take a Taxi two ways to get to work, fortunately my work is not too far away but others it can get very costly if far away. Then there are students. They cannot get to class. Total disaster. Unions taking the public hostage and something has to be done. For once Lego did the right thing with Bill 89, put them back to work all ready.
