That's not the point. :)

The point is that the Minister of Foreign Affairs has access to very confidential and critical information that could be harmful to our country if it turned out in the hands of someone corrupted.

Ok point taken, but critical information never leaves the office and second, when does a man actually share is work with his wife, even with his mistress, knowing that it is confidential and critical. Third, she couldn't even have access to the information even alone in his office...

That is incorrect. It leaves government offices all the time. It is checked out, signed for, handed over, and tracked. There are people who do this as full-time work. The investigation will (partially) be into how this system failed.

If this were the U.S Julie Couillard would be on the talk show circuit, preparing to write a book, working on the script for a movie and perhaps posing for Playboy.
Don't worry. I'm sure she's already thought about this & has an angle on how to reach her goals. People who knew her even before she met Bernier have told me that she's always been a gold-digging bitch with various personal agendas.

As for Miss poor little miss "Gold Digger" who got shafted, well one sentence for you girls. Good Job in bringing that moron down. Why make it easy and give him back the top S envelop directly when I can make him pay for how he treated me

Word around Ottawa is that Bernier is a lazy, useless moron.

Fits in. Should be able to bounce back and have a long career since the basic skill set remains intact.

Now now. He was promoted beyond his skill set because he is one of the few conservatives from Quebec.

I was at the montreal board of trade luncheon when he gave his speech there, sat with his life-long friend. Apparently his father was a big-shot in Insurance up in Quebec city.

The room had to stifle its laughter when he said with a straight face that although he didn't support Kyoto he was going to come down hard on emissions. From motorcycles.

Looks like the father figured it out - better park the boy elsewhere than have him join the family business or the industry where he/his mistakes would impact on the family or the father.

She is obviously a qualified security expert - her own security.

Going public and high profile is the best security option at this time. May not always work.

Yes I know many of them & I have been in many ministers offices, so the regular stuff gets checked out & even then its given to the ministers personal driver/bodyguard, in a briefcase. But I repeat, the confidential stuff does not leave the offices.

You guys are all right with your opinions. There should be an investigation about this, definately, cause he could be one of those who talks about everything to everyone.

But what does that got to do with the House of Commons nagging on & on about this, its a Rcmp issue now, so why are they still at it instead of talking about the real issues.
Oh yeah, summer vacation is coming up, so waist enough time now so that they can say they dont have enough time after to deal with them cause summer vacation is around the corner.

Did you guys know they actually do real work 6 months out of the year, the rest is vacation time & Waisted time on stupidities like this. WE are paying them & letting them do this, Thats a crime, stealing from tax paying citizens & they are blowing your hard earned cash, they do get paid 6 figures...

Thats my beef,

Les attributs de Julie
Alain Dubuc

Best picture yet of this fine lady in today's Globe and Mail... (not the one in the links above)

Was she a stooly for the cops, the bikers, both?

When I worked with the Mossad they had a classification for a person like this - they actually picked up and used the Arabic nomenclature - فراشة في حالة سكر ie drunken butterfly... when using her as a source you assumed everything could be a lie and she could be acting for the other side... a person like this is almost impossible to control as in their heart of hearts they don't even know which side they will be helping next.

So all intelligence agencies are extremely slow in putting any faith in this type.... Bulgaria’s State Agency for National Security (archives last of the former communist countries to be opened) didn't like ambiguities and "offed" those it couldn't figure out.

Until this whole issue is claimed to be just yet another way for English Canada to screw Quebec by screwing their boy from the Beauce?

Some nice coverage of the headlines this made around the world

Nice going, Max. You've done us proud!

By far my Favourite:

Minister resigns after leaving files with 'biker chick'
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/wor...nister-resigns-leaving-files-biker-chick.html

"One sensitive document was said to include details of NATO's military strength in Afghanistan."

Fucking great. There are kids putting their balls on the line (for someone else's fight on top of it) every goddamned day over in that armpit of the world, and this dumbfuck gets to bury his face in tits, and leave state secrets like that around? The guy should be arrested and charged.

Interesting that this detail didn't make Canadian press coverage as far as I know.
