I wish people can drop by and recommend hot stocks that they currently own and recommend. Other people can follow and have a bit profit so that we can all afford more joy with pretty girls. Also warning about bad stocks are welcomed.

Atos stock on Nasdaq, under $2, I think this week it will do ok, its bit of a daytrader stock. They have a conference on tues about a nasal spray for covid. I don't like to tell anyone to buy any stock I m no pro but i have done ok the last couple of months. it is a volitile play so only you can decide if its worth it or not. it has pretty much doubled this month already. there is a thread on stocktwits with lots of info. price targets are from $5-$7.50 .

I own some EV stocks as NIO, TSLA and battery as FCEL, POLA. These stocks are hot and they've increased 5-10x so far. I now own CBAT, and believe it’s going up in near time.

Bubbles always burst eventually. Be careful.
That's why you need to jump out of the train when getting enough profits. For example CBAT (8$ now) will get 20-40% this week (this morning premarket is already 5%), then it will be up to your call when to quit. My guess is it will follow POLA to reach above 20$.
I could not see SP last year, so I put the money into stocks; so far I could secure the hobby at least for another 2-3 year :)

P&L`s don`t mean shit in some cases. Stocks losing money, going bankrupt, trading at 2 to 3 bucks 6 months ago are now trading at 100 bucks. Why ? The effects of crowd trades , crowd short squeezes and crowd pumps on platforms like Reddit . How long will it last ? Is this the new normal ?
There is a trick: when you see they pump a lot in one day, prepare to jump. Like GME today went more than 120% and then down only 20%, BB rise more than 50% then down only 15%. You can short and buy them back later.
It wouldn't last long, until Covid is over I guess.

Market reacted. It comes back with gain in the afternoon. Buy at dip and be patient! Good luck!

IMO, don't chase any of the hot stocks especially if you can't afford to watch on an hourly basis. Keep your money in corporate bond etfs then wait for the big dump - in excess of 20%. Then buy the good companies. Then don't check for 5 years.

At this time I would not be buying any stocks as I believe that they are over priced and the market will pull back as it did in March of 2020.

What do you experienced traders think about the GameStop (GME) / wallstreetbets situation ?

Huge Hedge funds seem to be in high crisis mode and forced into bailing eachother out

I'll be observing it closely, but I'm particularily interested in BlackBerry (BB).
In the last year, they did large deals with Huwei, Baidu, Amazon and Sony for next gen autonomous driving tech... I thought BB was dead in the water

there is one simple answer Reddit and the monster stock forum called WallStreetBets. In other words the internet is giving access to a group that is pumping failing companies for huge profits.
Its not logical but was bound to happen . A short squeeze by a mob working in unison that increases a stock`s value by 25 to 200 percent per day for several days in a row. Some of these companies were on the verge of going bankrupt like AMC , but are now up several hundred percent in a few days.
BB is a little different because it was starting to get its act together before the mob took it for a rocket ride.
I was surprised when the TSX60 dropped BB . To me its a solid 12 buck stock and not 36 where it traded to-day. But who the fuck knows anymore. These are weird times we live in.

If you have the time and are interested in a rainbow of comments on BB, then google Blackberry stock forum and click on stocktwits.

Yesterday was a good day to sell these inflated "boiler room" stocks.
Will BB see 25 again this year ?.....probably not.
Will BB drop below 10 before it renews its advance again .....probably yes.
Will Jon Chen get his huge 90 million bonus because the stock hit 30 ? . Hopefully not under these trading irregularities. This may go to court which won`t be good for BB.
GME back to 20 ? AMC bankrupt ?

Did I read this right ? Robin Hood is not allowing the reddit mob to buy ....only to sell. What are the implications ?

Patron,
What makes you think that the mob that turned on short sellers can`t suddenly turn on long buyers.
I agree that short selling could be dangerous both to investors and the targeted companies.

You invest long all you can lose is your investment....sell short and there is no limit to what you can lose.

The reddit mob was shut out from GME and friends, but not to worry they found new targets . One stock is up 700% to-day.

There will be some big time court cases arising from these battles pitting little retail guys and gamers against giant hedge funds and stock brokers..

Wasn`t Robin Hood supposed to steal from the rich and give to the poor ? Being a trading app with no commission , it was doing just that....until it wasn`t . Now its probably in deep shit. The reddit gang is probably more powerful than most Wall Street types realize. There is no going back to the good old times of last month.
