I've made money on puts on the DJT stock, but am losing this week. There is a conspiracy theory which I actually find plausible.

Last election, the Russians contributed to the NRA which in turn supported the Republicans. This time, the theory is that they or their proxies are supporting this stock with no revenue and no realistic prospects of revenue even after the majority shareholder awarded himself lots of additional shares which he can cash quickly.

I find this conspiracy theory plausible as Trump's foreign policy appears to coincide with Putin's, so obviously, regardless of what they say, he is Putin's preferred presidental candidate. Weaken NASA, delay funding for Ukraine and tell the Ukrainians to give up territory for peace. It's rare for a stock to have its shares rise in value after a dilution. This dilution is not to take over another company or invest, but just to enrich Trump.

My vote goes to AMZN, GOOG, & NVDA. They have such a technological edge that it's damn near impossible to compete with them. Just buy and forget, and check back again in 5 years.

Rogers Communications and the NHL have reached an exclusive agreement with Amazon's Prime Video to carry Monday regular-season games in Canada for the next two seasons.

Rogers and the league said in a joint statement Thursday that "Prime Monday Night Hockey" will stream all national regular season Monday night NHL games in English for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 NHL seasons.

It marks the NHL's first exclusive broadcast deal with a digital-only streaming service in Canada.

Never bought Amazon but tempted to.

BTC is volatile as you said so what's the analysis to buy/sell at the right time?
Bitcoin is down today. Time to buy?
What is your tought about SWBI Smith & Wesson with the upward trajectory of USA political polarisation and the coming election? Good short term future for weapons business?

Buffett response to his selling of Apple.

If he is so fond of Apple, why did Buffett sell about 116 million shares in the first quarter? In response to shareholder questions, he suggested he was selling to avoid a higher tax bill in the future if tax rates increase to fund the U.S. fiscal deficit.

I never invested in gold or silver in my life and 2 years ago I was reading that it would be a great time to do so. I just checked with my broker and he told me that so far I made a 50% profit since doing so. I'm happy that i did. One thing that I did this year was to remove my stocks in Bell and invested it in CP rail, they are doing very well right now.

Having a subscription with a good financial information provider is a must. Bloomberg and Financial Times are good.

I remember explaining to an SP how to buy bitcoin in 2016. It was about $700 back then. Haven’t seen her post any ads in years, maybe she did alright. Either way, it’s still cheap at $135,000 and holding for a minimum of 4 years is the way to go if you want exposure to the asset.

What would be the best way to enter the Bitcoin family... I know I've should had earlier, but time is now.
I've been told to stay away from WealthSimple, Coinbase, Crypto.com
Probably use Bitget or Mexc

I remember someone shows me some years ago a way to buy bits of bitcoins...

Give me your do's and don't. Or would it be better to stick with stocks?

Thanks
