Yea...But now with the Epstein Files we have some very concerning Files relating to Bitcoin, payment systems, Ripple, XRP, etc from 10+ years ago. Epstein somehow in relation with creators of Bitcoin and powerful backers of blockchain WTF I don't even know how to interpret this new crap. Some legal war between Bitcoin and XRP? I dunno but I feel a lot of market cap ditched crypto and piled into gold and silver because of these recent Epstein revelations.
I'm back at my Nvidia ETF dividend machine lol

And sorry for those who got AMDs ...

IPO's usually have an 80% chance of going down. I usually avoid them like the plague. Most retail traders end up trapped.
Me too lol

Was just curious if people have different perspectives on that.

Saw the news that some Quebec investors in private equity might get the best out of it because they got early stage shares

Yes, some funds were already in pre-ipo. So, they will probably benefit on the short term IPO boost.

I prefer buy the dip when the VIX spikes up. It's usually safer but you have to be patient.

I am thinking of taking a position early just because the stock will be included in the nasdaq 100 index after 15 trading days. Any ETF or fund tracking the index will have to buy the stock to stay in line, this might give it momentum to keep increasing in price while the rebalancing occurs and after might just set up a stop loss in case price crash after all funds are in compliance

Who is going to surf the SpaceX trend?
Check out Virgin Galactic holdings SPCE. Looks like it will be riding on the coat tails of SpaceX. SPCE used to be a 1000$ stock and been sitting around 2.50$ for a while and is suddenly jumping. Crazy times like this SpaceX ipo reminds me of google facebook ipo madness and no one knew the true value at the time. Suspicious the mainstream media is calling the SpaceX ipo the end of the rally?

Globe and Mail Canada SpaceX ipo clearest sign of bull market peak

I don't honestly don't know. Usually people are pumped when there is an IPO. But due to Elon's notoriety, there seem to be a boycott (very subjective view)

Check out the Korean stock exchange based ETFs such as South Korea Ishares MSCI ETF, there was great gains there, not sure if still room to increase but there may be.

I was looking at the Direxion Shares ETF Trust - Daily MSCI South Korea Bull 3X

It was $53 and now $1180

It doesn't beat SanDisk though

Ok, normally the 3x are too risky to invest long term as they decay and the losses are amplified. This one sure wasn't.

I have been doing this for clients for 40 years and the best advice I can give you is to buy a couple of ETF's replicating the index's . Vanguard and ishares have the lowest MER's so over time the cost will be low. Trying to find the home run is a fools game and buying into the hype will more than likely cost you your investment

One of my good friends who manages my group of friends' investments and excels in this field gives the same advice to his friends and relatives. He always says "do not chase, compound with diversified low cost ETFs", whatever that means... :) :)
