I don’t think it’s normal to have to wait 15-20 mins, but others think it’s normal, so each one has an opinion.
Let me explain: if it rarely happens (example, 1 out of 10 times), I would let it slide.
If it happens often (every 2nd or 3rd appointment), I find it’s unacceptable. Our time is important too!
If the girl showed up 15 mins late for her shift, it’s ok, stuff happens. But this means that all her appointments will be delayed by at least 15 mins. So in this case, the proper thing for the agency to do is to send each client a quick text to say their appt is delayed by 15 mins. Saves time and frustration for the client.
But as long as the agencies are fully booked, then they can do whatever they want. We as clients seem to be accepting any conditions, such as delays, shortened appointments (1 hr = 45-50 mins), etc.
I’ve usually had minimal delays (5-10 mins), so it’s been ok. One time, however, there was a delay and they kept telling me that the SP would be ready soon (in 5 mins). 30 mins later she still wasn’t ready. I was actually on a bit of a tight schedule and I told them that if there was a further delay, I’d have to cancel.
Guess what: the booker said “ok she’s ready now.” Lol!
Edit: My response was referring to incall appointments, since I only do incalls.
For outcall, I guess more delays can be expected due to traffic, etc.
