Last time I was there was Mid 2012. They were in the midst of renovation. This was when Sharks was getting all the raves on ISG. I went to World first and I enjoyed it and then I want to Oase next and I just enjoyed Oase more. I was going to go to Sharks the next day and I said so on ISG. I got a PM from a fellow ISG member and he said that he went to Sharks and hated it I met him the next day at Oase. I have forgot his handle but he was from my home state. The 4th day I was going to go out with Ded from ISG. I asked where we should go. He said that that day Oase was going to have the best lineup that day. So guess where I went that day?
I haven't been since the renovations have been completed. I do know this: It is in vogue to say that you don't like Oase. Liking Oase is kind of like admitting you are a Howard Sterns fan or a Rock fan saying they like Katy Perry. I like the way the place flows. I like that the Hungarian girls sit in one place. I sit near the bar and watch the girls pass. Now things could be different since the renovations have been completed. I haven't kept up with ISG but I have trouble believing that Oase sucks because ISG members have always bad mouthed Oase. It is not quaint enough or something.
I really can't argue with this. It sounds like you were there last about the same time as me. I like World's outdoor space a lot more than Oase's. And I like their downstairs a lot. The main room at Oase certainly trumps World's. As for the girls, I've never been able to discern a difference. They are both beyond mind-boggling. Thought I'd provide an update on the hobby scene in BCN to the community.
The Russians have left! The Russians have left!
It appears on the whole, that Russians and Eastern Europeans have left en masse from BCN, compared to last year and the last few years. There are a handful of Romanians left in the city, but nowhere near the breadth of choice from the last few years. And the ones remaining are not very good.
Take this update with a grain of salt - I only got in 2.5 days of hobbying / 4 dates, and then work got busy, and I lost the mood to play, for other reasons. But still, that period spanned what have historically been great days and times for places like Top Damas, La Vie en Rose and Felinas.
I was not presented a single Russian, or Belarussian, or Czech, or Hungarian, the whole time! And clubs were not busy with clients, so I got to see the full lineups. A lot more Colombians and native Catalans now. Especially the latter. All with some more heft and flab. Choices for petite spinners, even slim tall girls, were limited. If you're looking for blondes, Spain was never great for blondes anyways, mostly Russians were supplying that pool in the past. This time, I was presented with only 3 natural blondes of passable note, there may well have been more, but I filtered out all the fat ugly ones. So, something to keep in mind, for those who are biased towards blondes.
I have always been skeptical of the cleanliness of Catalans, beautiful as some of them may be. (The most beautiful Catalans rank right up there with any other ethnic group, there's just a lot of nasty filling out the rest.) This trip did not change that opinion. I saw a Colombian, a Romanian, and 2 Catalans. Both Catalans smelled funky down there. Pretty faces, soft skin, but Y's a little rank once they started cumming. Thanks for the info and the advice, but I'm not traveling only for this. I want to visit spain and while being there, probably see some SPs. But if its too expensive ill just chill and wait for my return in montreal.
Granted, Patron, it's my 2 cents in the post. But my data sample is much more than merely the 2 on this trip. I've been to Barcelona for 20, maybe 25, trips... so you do the math from your hobbying arithmetic... And believe me, I think Catalans are beautiful, as I've noted in other posts on MERB. But the *cleanest* girls on the planet are probably LA K-girls, then Montreal, then maybe (surprisingly) Colombians (be it Miami, Spain, elsewhere). Catalans are not filthy, but they're average. Again, I have to differ. If you want Latinas, go to south Florida. Much shorter trip, presumably, for most. You'll find Latinas in Madrid, Barcelona, Amsterdam - but I've rarely come across university students. So there's no 'premium' for more intelligence if you trek to Europe. More likely, they're a bit more worn down. Latinas in Miami are in their environment. Think terroir.
I can argue, in certain months, South Florida is neck-and-neck with Montreal for best hobbying city for locals.Second point, Eastern Europeans may age quickly.
