I have had some problems getting definitive confirmation from some high end ladies. A few days prior to the appointment they confirm our date but after I check-in at my hotel I'm having challenges confirming my room number.
On a few occasions, they did not replied to my Email or SMS. I always managed to book an alternative through an agency but finds it annoying when you look forward to meeting someone you really want to see.
I was even black listed on Terb by one lady while visiting Toronto. She said that I never did contact her to confirm when I sent her two mails after I checked-in.
I often find that some of them do not even reply to Emails. I understand that they are busy but it's frustrating when you're serious.
Any recommendation.
Thanks Merbists.

Same to me with indies. Do not work well with emails. Texting sometimes work, sometime not. Some girls even reply an email sent 1 week before. You loose your cool when time passes.
For me, staying with agency is more time reliable.

Regardless of agency or Indy, SMS/text is better than email. As is traditional voice call.
You can probably try before hand to establish What the protocol will be the day of the session and the hour before for conveying details. Defining it may increase chances as it establishes aligned expectations

What I did was start with emails then give out my phone number just few days before and text exchanges after that.

Emails may be good for pre-booking few days in advance but i would avoid them for confirming the booking on the day itself and confirming room numbers. I know nowadays you can have internet on your cellphone pretty easily and can verify your mails but a text is much more direct and simple. Most if not 99.99% of indies will allow text messaging and most of them will prefer it.

What i find a bit odd is that lots of them block phone call all together. I understand when she work she does not have time much to answer the phone and i know some guys like to abuse this by thinking they can have a 20 min chat with them. So on one side i do understand but on the other side it just personally make me think im dealing with a booker. As much as i prefer to text with agencies and have not called a single time (exept when booker asked to call to fix details etc) when it comes to indies i feel a phone call can enhance trust on both the indy and the client side. Gives a glimpse of personality.

Anyway to go back on topic if you send text messages (SMS) and she never reply to you and you have to go plan B, this mean she is unreliable and you have no fault yourself there. But again definately avoid using mails for room confirmations.

From my experience the past year with high end indy girls I've always made the first initial contact by e-mail and once the date was set they would usually tell me to confirm by e-mail or text on the day of the date. All my encounters have gone smoothly and any changes were always relayed to me during my confirmation. Now once the date is set the girl should be looking for your confirmation on that day or sending you a message to make sure the date is still on. I'm just talking from my encounters or maybe I've been lucky in that all the girls I've dealt with have been professional.

I have had some problems getting definitive confirmation from some high end ladies. ..........

I used to have a strange problem with my Excite email. I would book an appointment through the email from the us with an agency an some times an independent. When I got to montreal I would email to confirm and get no response. I finally found out they were not getting the emails I sent from montreal and once or twice they would get my email but when they replied i didnt get their email. The last time it happened I switched to a different email and the lady was happy i did she could tell from my replys that i wasnt able to see her replies. So I not longer use excite email for canada business.

It is not that they are blocking phone calls... Nowadays most escorts are using phone apps like text now or text plus... Many of these apps do not offer phone calls unless you pay for it... The ones that do are not too reliable. So text messages is the only way to go.

Well thats plausible...I would say it would better if they used a "pre paid" or second phone or something but if they do use the text app your right. I find it a bit funny tough that they do not want clients to use text apps to contact them but they do use them themselves :/

It is always a double standard with them... They want to lower their risk but do not understand our need to lower my risk... BTW my first time using Backpage I used a text app to contact the escort. Getting a second phone is so inconvenient. But a text app makes it so convenient and easy. I have the app installed in my phone and it came useful many times. Prepaid or second phone is way too outdated.

Actually we just want our private lives to stay away from our whoreing advertising lol... Yes I said whoreing so you could understand the point I'm trying to make :p Your number isn't public on internet and it won't be if you do your job and make sure the ladies you meet are reliable...

Might as well give y'all our real names and (in some cases) tell their dayjob boss that they do this, or tell everyone at school, and why not tell it to the family at Christmas too :) Change our Facebook job info to "Escorting as (name) in (city)"...

That's where the double standard comes from I guess. lol I'm going to the extreme but yeah

I was actually referring to something else but I will not get into that... About what you said I can understand that but me as a client I should also be able to use phone apps and this is what I did. About internet that girl I booked from Backpage which was my only time I ever used that site... The girl was using her personal phone number and I was able to track it to her Facebook and that is how I knew she was the same Sugar from Motel St-Pierre. So yes it makes sense about what you said. Another point is I read some on some of the Indys here on their website and their screening process is another example of double standard. I will not point out specific names but some want to know your full legal name, have your work number, job title, the place you work at and call you anonymously to confirm, etc.. Again this I saw on some Indy websites not all. But pardon my French but that is none of their business and I intend to keep my private life separate from escorts. So yes this is a double standard. So for me personally this is the main reason I will not use an Indy. Best to use an agency.

Your post explains it all.
What I find kind of funny is when you talk about reliability.

I think there is good reason for both sides to remain anonymous as much as possible, so we should just forget this nonsense about reliability and try and understand and accommodate each other's need to guard their real identity.

?? Sorry maybe because I'm French I don't really understand what the problem is... What I'm saying is your number is not going to be posted publically on internet if you go see trustable/trusted/well reviewed/well known (are those better words ?) providers.

I mean of course you can chose to use an application, plenty of providers including myself don't require a real number after all. At the end of the day to each their own, if one booking doesn't work there are plenty of girls in Montreal to chose from :)

Also it is possible to get a real phone number using a fake name, guys. Go to Chatr and thank me later. For 40-50 a month (without any obligation to renew every month) it's worth it. :)

Never tried Chatr but don't cell phone companies usually ask for a piece of ID before they open an account?

I use a prepaid phone from Fido that I was able to get from them without giving my name years ago.

If I find a specific ladie's screening makes me uncomfortable (which has happened), I just don't see her. At the same time, if a guy doesn't want to go through that screening process a lady is entitled to refuse the client. It's a free market. There are so many ladies out there to choose from.

Not Chatr they just ask you your info. I had an employee ask me once "Do I write whatever name?", another one in Alberta wrote his own home address because I wasn't from there, I also had a male friend call himself Melissa with no issues lol

Speaking for myself, I never had a confirmation problem or a no show with an HDH. That only ever happened with an agency. That being said, most of the high end indies/HDH I see require verification of identity and/or a copy of the hotel confirmation email and/or references. Over the years I have been told they come across many people who do not want to provide these but still assume appointments will be honored. I understand verification is not the norm in Montreal, but it is in many places and I know a few providers that will absolutely not compromise on it. Not saying thats the issue here but something I heard about frequently in reference to the same topic

Chatr is a prepaid service therefore there is no credit check so IDs are not mandatory. You could technically put any name you want on a pay as you go service and it would really make no difference.
