How to spot trolls on this board

Since the blue basically got near shut down you have to know that some of them have nothing better to do than to stir up shit here ( banned members from here also )
New members who basically know everything and with attitudes should be ignored and their false comments noted. I am guessing there is at lease 3 new members I suspect.
These people have no life and probably have a small wet stain in their shorts after they post here. They ruined the blue and now have no place to post except here.

What do you mean they ruined the blue? It's the owner of the blue who trashed his own board by encouraging the trolls. He's the sole responsible.

BTW - I plan to post my first reviews after my trip to Mtl this weekend! I have already had some interesting experiences with the booking process, which is teaching me that booking is very important to the overall experience.

The troll is not trying to stimulate meaningful discussion, he/she is baiting others into fights or pissing contests. In some cases the troll will post something totally false to see how others react to the false information. In one instance a troll posed as an escort in order to get members to send PMs to him requesting sexual services, and then he mocked those who did so. The troll attempts to exploit the basic concept that on the Internet anyone can say anything and it cannot necessarily be proven or disproven.

The troll has time on his hands and usually does not choose to use it constructively as by posting useful information or attempting to stimulate a meaningful discussion on a real topic.

Tom reminds me so much of the senile old man who keeps a bunch of dogs and lets them run wild in his house without ever cleaning it. They lay and sleep on all the furniture, jump on the dinner table to eat, drink from the toilet, shed fur and piss and shit wherever they want, snap at and run over any other people from family to friends. Eventually the place is so trashed and smelling like such a dump no one will go near it. Then he's stuck with nothing but the animals and some worthless property. In the end he's got only the dogs and the stink, (which he doesn't even notice is all over him because he's been rolling in it so long)...until even the dogs are too repulsed to stay.

Hmmm, you know...that's pretty much it.

Sometimes I don't mind when the trolls break in here. It reminds me and them HOW BIG THEY FAILED over there. :nod:

As for Trolls, whenever I know that I should not reply to an offensive post, but find it hard not to, that's when you know you have a Troll on the line.

A good clue is when you look at the post and it is the first ever of a new member and it is so aggressive that you have to wonder if someone forgot to take his little blue pill, no,not that blue one...
Same apply to reviews that are over the top, I always check the join date and history before taking a comment seriously...
