Lol The Trudeau Liberal government caused this by A) Mass uncontrolled immigration. Increasing the population rapidly causes demand to skyrocket thus prices go sky high. Businesses and landlords are cashing in big time and so is the government. Higher prices = More tax revenue. B)Government out of control spending like on refugees giving them a free hotel, monthly paychecks, free medical care, free cellphone causes more inflation. Sending billions to Ukraine. All a waste of taxpayers money. Inflation benefit the government and rich. It makes the average joe working a job more poorer as it reduces his purchasing power.

To conclude, things will only get worse with Carney. He follows Trudeau's agenda. Ppl got duped by Liberal media with the Trump narrative. Same cabinet, same Trudeau policies. The party has to go. Look at England's track record when Carney was the bank of England governor.
And they have big media about Trudeau dating Kathy Perry what a bunch of assholes, How what is Justin doing theses days....

Trudeau is a MP of the Papineau riding. Which PM still remains in the House of Commons after resigning? Trudeau so hungry for power and importance. Him and Carney had been working together for a long while for personal and political gain. Before Trudeau was the PM, now Carney is the PM. But same goals, same cabinet, same government.

The fact is he isn't a MP right now.

Wow since when? This is new information I was not aware of. I looked it up he left since March 2025. Everything got so quiet about Trudeau it is like he was in the shadows. Either way Carney has the same cabinet so is pushing the same Trudeau agenda.

Carney needs to do something to rebalance this shit, there was an article in the JDM that clearly stated the violence in Montreal is related to all those immigrant coming into the country and it was not like this before. They need to do some serious deportation. When people can't meet month end and struggle with money, this makes no sense.

Yes but he stayed on as a MP of the Papineau riding but only for two months it seems. There was not much coverage on him, I never bothered to check.

He will not. He got Mark Wiseman in his team a garbage sleazeball leading the Century Initiative. The goal is to make the rich more richer.

^^^^ As you can see Carney recruited this sleazeball.

^^^^ Mark Wiseman is one of the founders of the Century Initiative. So far the immigration data is not being disclosed since Carney got elected. I doubt the numbers dropped at all. I continue to see many newcomers to the city with 4+ kids.

Yes - Given there was an election coming up, it likely made no sense to go through a whole process in the riding, so might as well stay, I guess. Who knows.

During the leadership campaign, Carney promised to cap immigration until returned to a sustainable, pre-pandemic trajectory.

Last year, Trudeau announced significant cuts to Canada’s annual immigration targets that will dramatically reduce the number of permanent and temporary residents that enter into the country over the next few years.

The policy change would drop Canada’s permanent resident target to 395,000 in 2025, a reduction of 105,000 compared to the original projection. Under the new plan, the target would fall again to 380,000 in 2026, before dropping even further to 365,000 in 2027.

They made false promises to get reelected. Carney even removed the carbon tax (truth is he just suspended it). Now that he has been reelected he no longer needs our votes just our money. Immigration data is not available since Carney got elected. He is bringing back the Carbon Tax 2.0 as Clean Fuel Regulations. Ppl got duped. I told everyone that it will be same, Trudeau 2.0.. No one believed me. Look at the cabinet, it is basically all the same ppl.

If people need 2 jobs to meet end's it not going to work, i never had kids nor marry, and am a caregiver for my mother, i am close to 50 now, when its all over with my mother i got a big family home to sell and plan to retire either in mexico play del carmen or else, Dominican Republic, i don't want to stay in Canada with all this shit going on. Its crazy when you need to work 2 jobs to pay your rent and afford a normal living, this cannot on anymore because a lot more people will be on the street.

BTW the price of gas as always been the same i did not notice a decrease its around 1.54 to 1.62 since Covid.

Quebec carbon tax - Wikipedia https://share.google/oPBp2vAhc3vV0Dq8Q

^^^^ Because Lego did not want to remove the Quebec carbon tax. Quebec had their own carbon tax so Trudeau did not apply it for Quebec. When Carney removed it, Lego refused to retract the Quebec carbon tax. We got no relief, but in Ontario they got an immediate 20 cent drop per liter. For businesses that adds up to a lot.

Another annoyance of Quebec is the damn deposit system for cans and bottles. Only Quebec has it. You got to store all that garbage in your home then take it to return it to get your deposit back. At 10 cents a can/bottle it adds up fast. Half the time the machines are out of service. Such a waste of resources. Ontario is much cleaner and they do not got this ridiculous deposit system.

True but it is so much better managed. The roads are smooth, they got family doctors available. On average Quebec has the worst healthcare in Canada. Quebec roads are so bad, potholes everywhere. Drive in highway 20 towards Toronto as soon as you cross the border and the highway turns to 401 the road gets all smooth. There is way too much redtape here.
