Im gonna wait until everyone is vaccined and see if there is any downsides. I prefer to be the last to get the vaccine. I will let you be the "cobaye"

I am glad I have been vaccinated, can’t wait for the second dose in the first week of July, the biggest downside is if you don’t get vaccinated when you have the chance and get covid and you end up in the hospital or worse in the morgue.

Hope you will not get COVID before you finally go for it. Otherwise you may regret your decision. It's not only about protecting yourself but also protecting your loved ones.

Not sure about the vaccine you took but having to wait that long may make your first shot moot.

I think it is better to get vaccinated with a vaccine made in India than no vaccine.

I have been vaccinated with Pfizer and should receive the 2nd dose in July.

I am so happy, because every time I saw my SP (not during the meeting), I had a little apprehension.

Besides, to celebrate, after my three weeks, I'm going to have my first duo :)

Sol, are you vaccinated?
No, TransMountain offered the Astra to all of us and from what I heard 90% refused.
I will wait for a year or two and see that happens, my kids are the same but my daughter may take it as she wants to go to Fiji when they open up again, not sure the requirements there.
Just to add, since last June I have been on the TM job on sites with up to 1,000 people, only one case and it was a hire from Ontario who got tested when he arrived, no further fallout.

Not according to most experts, they are saying that with the Astra Zeneca especially a longer period between shots actually increases the efficacy although there has not been any actual study yet. We will see, it is not that we have any other option this is what our government and health experts have decided.

The Covishield is the vaccine made in India by Astrazeneca, is it not?

When is your second dose?
Yes it is, second dose 1st July. They give you your appointment for the second while you are doing your 15 minute wait after your first dose to see if you don’t have a bad reaction. They are now working on a study to see if it is feasible to have a second shot of a different shot than the Astra Zeneca as there have been many under 55 who got the Astra Zeneca as their first dose.

I don't know why I asked you this question, I knew the answer.

You are like Thomas in the bible, or like Mr. Marino here in Quebec City, who said that the Covid could not enter his gym because he was following the instructions (but he accepted more people), and at this day 204 people tested postive plus caused about 30 outbreaks, and a 40-year-old man died of it.

People think only of themselves, and forget all the $$$$ spent in hospitals.

I congratulate you on having the balls to man up and be a Guinea Pig for Covishield. I imagine your case will be assimilated into data that will for the basis for such actual studies. For example, should you get Covid and die before your second vaccination, such data will be recorded and studied as further decisions are made on the appropriate spacing out the Covishield vaccine doses. Canada, and AstraZeneca, thank you for your service to your fell man.

What is likely more on his mind is the $$$$$ he owes for mortgage payments, utilities, child support, alimony to his ex wife and steep Canadian taxes if he does not get asses into his gym and the register going ca-ching. Financial self preservation always comes first as a plain manifestation of the survival instinct.

I am not worried, we all die eventually.
All things considered I have had a fabulous life with the woman of my dreams and still have a loving family, children and grandchildren.
I have seen first hand what cancer can do in a matter of weeks after being diagnosed.
I am one of the lucky ones who was able to see an absolutely gorgeous young lady who was vaccinated and tested regularly, now finally I am much less of a threat to her also and to the rest of my family and friends.

You do have a way with words, luckily my children know my funeral plans, although it would be tough to book a gypsy band at this time so I plan to hold on for a while.

Just for hoots, look at the difference between the RNA vaccine you got and the viral vector vaccine he got, how long each has been around, how each interact with your DNA and tell me who the Guinea Pig is :) I am not a vaccine expert but the AstraZeneca looks good to me
