I am sick like a dog! Covid again ?

Good morning !

Since 5h30 this morning I started to cough with light fever etc.

Now I feel like I met Mike Tyson in a back alley followed by Godzilla’s sister.

I talked to my doctor (private clinic) and he suspects a Covid infection.

This could make sense because I saw many folks lately with cough, runny nose and one of them has been confirmed with covid.

I’m very sick, like last time I caught it in 2021.

What do you mean??? Even a faint band is a positive result. Unless the control did not worked well...
I was in a similar situation in September. It is also possible you do COVID and a flew or a cold at the same time. Late November, I got COVID and Influenza vaccination. Since then, all is good!
Vaccination is your friend! Hopefully you will feel better in 10 days.

A few months ago I had such a crazy sore throat it was waking me up every night for a week straight. I didn't want to sleep at a certain point cuz I knew what was coming. My Mom dropped off a phlegm and sore throat liquid medicine which helped greatly, and in the end it cleared. I took a covid test when I was almost better and it came up positive. Few months later I hear on the news a new variant being called razor throat. Think I was one of the first to get it. The joys of taking a premi baby around to different clinics. Anyhow, hope you feel better soon.

So far the throat is not that bad. Runny nose, cough, fever etc are my symptoms.

The cough is my worst symptom because i can’t sleep.

I don’t know how i will perform tonight at the swingers club. The headache might be a problem lol

It has happened to me a couple of times many years ago where i pre-booked someone a couple days prior, and litterarly a few hours before the appointment I started feeling a cold coming on. I debated what to do, decided to go through with the date, and regretted it both times. I was just not at my best, not to mention probably passing on a cold (this was before covid)...

I got my covid shot again this year (although I had to pay for it $170 mostly covered by insurance). I also got the flu vaccine. Long story short, while EVERYBODY in my immediate surrounding caught something during the hollidays, I have not been sick in 2 years (knock on wood). Despite going to holliday gatherings and despite continuing to partake in the hobby weekly throughout.

that is another reason i stopped prebooking, only same day bookings. Everyday is full of surprises...
