Important Clean Up

Hello to all,

The last month has been very crazy for me. As some of you may know, some hobbyists had concern about our reliability and our promptness in answering emails. I truly care about all the comments that are being made, even though I can seem to be trying to excuse myself. I believe that my personal work and efforts are good, but lately I was forgetting the essential: I am supposed to manage others too!!

We had an emergency meeting yesterday night due to a few ladies being unreliable. We decided (the companions cast and I) that from now on, bad behaviours will be handle more seriously. We will not give chances anymore. We try to work as a family, we are all extremely nice girls, all friends, but our kindness tends to play against us when it comes to other girls.

We came to the decision that the ladies that have been lacking reliability will not be on our team anymore. Therefore, you will see some ladies gone from our website. We will also be even more selective on who we allow on our team.

My email helper has brought a few problems too. After looking for a long while, I found a new secretary that I believe will be very professional and reliable. Her name is Caroline. As of now, she will be answering emails whenever I am unable to do it.

We hope that our efforts in this ``clean up`` will be rewarded. We do not want our reputation to be ruined by a couple of ``bad apples``.

I think Lolita had a lot of guts making this post. There is even an allusion to a prior thread on the subject in which the companions had been criticized for email problems.

Usually when employees get fired it is because they are ``bad apples`` or simply unreliable. I once had to fire a secretary whom I liked as a person. It was a very difficult thing to do, but she simply could not do the job. She just didn`t get it, didn`t understand how to solve the most basic problems that arose. So I ended up having to do not only my job but hers, which was totally unacceptable.

As Lolita mentions in any successful business you need to be able to delegate authority to others to get the job done. When they don`t get the job done ultimately the manager is responsible. Lolita has now taken action and I am sure these steps will improve her agency.

I have used the companions in the past and have never had any issues such as what apparently brought about these terminations, but I do know that these problems occur in this business and the companions should be lauded for attempting to deal with them in a public fashion like this.

EGB and Oliver, I think your comments are inappropriate and really have no place here.

A suggestion: now that Melissa and Maxime, both brunettes, are departed from your agency, there is a deficiency of brunettes on your staff. I hope that in the future you will put it on your agenda to hire some new ladies that are brunettes.

EGB, the point is not "how things really are" but rather the insulting and disrespectful tone of your and Oliver's posts. Lolita does not need to be told that she is a pimp or to get an education just like I don't need to be told I am a monger or that I need to get an education or pass a few more bar exams. You guys need to show respect as your posts are arguably rules violations since Lolita is a member here.

First, I have had only good experiences with Lolita and The companions and I recommend using them.

However I can`t help but remember that this is at least the third time Lolita has posted something like this.

I don`t know if this will help, Lolita, but you can`t be a boss and a real friend at the same time. At best you can be a friendly boss. If something doesn`t work, you can`t allow friendships to interfer with fixing the problem. And you need to fix problems because, otherwise, all employees will suffer and that`s not fair.

Since you have not enabled PMs, I cannot pass long to you any precise information but suffice it to say that based on what I know #1 and #2 of your post are incorrect and #3 is likely incorrect and the reason behind the firings of Melissa and Maxime is that they failed to show for appointments and/or make themselves available for appointments. I think Lolita tried to be as diplomatic as possible in saying this. I doubt very much that the terminated ladies will post to give their "side" of the story, or that there is a plausible "side" worth articulating.

Some years ago Allissa of Montreal made a similar housecleaning for similar reasons. With HDH agencies, no matter how gorgeous a lady is, she cannot be a continual no-show and not have it effect the agency. In the case of Allissa, I wrote and asked her about the terminations. You would not believe the ridiculous stories she was told by her escorts when they were no-shows: "my grandmother is in the hospital"; "I overslept and my alarm clock did not go off"; "I lost my cellphone"; etc etc. This housecleaning by Lolita is not nor should it be unusual for an HDH agency. The terminated ladies may resurface elsewhere and maybe they will learn to be more responsible.

Remember we are talking about very young ladies who are just learning how to become responsible adults.

Lolita once offered me a $100 discount on my next appointment because Maxime didn't show up. That's a very generous policy and I can't blame Lolita at all for firing the "bad apples". I imagine the discounts must have been adding up!

So how come we never heard anything bad about these 2 ladies? I even recall a glowing review of Melissa not too long ago (wasn't it from you EB ?).

What we do read a lot about is the agency's problems with answering e-mails... But Lolita also addressed that issue and said it will be takin' care of.

EGB, the bad apples thing was an expression. If it was misused I apologize. I have nothing against Melissa or Maxime at all. Please note too that my own brother ould be included in the bad apples!!
The simple reason these people were thanked of their help is because they have shown me that they were not reliable. I am not black mailing them. Both Maxime and Melissa will maybe work elsewhere, and maybe this problem will not be recurrent. But, with us, there was a reliability problem, and the whole team looks bad for this type of action, so that is were the "bad apples" expression came from!
Also, I believe our working conditions are great. Most of the ladies have been with us since the beginning and never complained. I cannot talk for them, but the fact that they are still there does. I don't think I am a scary person!!! 5'7 and 115pds, I don't scare many people....

You forgot to mention: "my computer crashed; my mother suddenly showed up; i took a nap after supper and didn't wake up until the following day; my dog fell ill and i had to go to the vet; i went to the wrong address." And let we not forget a favorite of mine (not!): "i have to cancel because my time-of-the-month showed up prematurely."

These HDH ladies are making tremendous money. It is not asking a lot for them to be responsible and show up for their appointments or keep their pagers on so they can receive appointments. How much the owner is making off of them is not relevant as these ladies are making a very handsome income after the owner takes her cut.

Don't forget that the owner isn't doing nothing. This ain't the street, Oliver. The owner provides a booking service so that the lady does not have contact with the client until she shows up at his door. Saves a lot of hassle. Also the owner provides a driver so the lady can get to and from appointments and from her home without contact with the client. All of these services are deserving of compensation. Just like your employer factors into your compensation whatever travel it subsidizes for you.

I don't know about the other people's experiences. However I've had a date with Melissa two weeks ago. And to me, she's not "all there" at all times if you know I am saying. She's a stunning looking girl with killer legs (my god those legs... ) but she's not very stable mentally. She kept switching topics of conversation and ask me if I find her beautiful and never seem to be able to settled down in one place for 2 hours! Mind you just because of her looks I'd see her again however I won't know what to expect. This is not to defend anyone, just my 2 cents.

How true...I got this excuse from a well-known indy 2 years ago and she also inadverdently turned off her cell phone.

Anyway, I have used thecompanions more than once and never had a problem with the booking.

"she suddenly got sick and won't be able to make it....however, so-and-so would be available if you want; my friend's friend was in a car accident and we spent the whole night at the hospital and i hadn't slept; my driver's car broke down and i couldn't make it because i didn't have any money for a cab; i got called in to work at the last minute in my 'real job', and i couldn't refuse....."
