Interac eTransfer deposits reveal real name of senders

I did that mistake once, and it is almost ruined my life. I booked a girl few years ago for an outcall, and she wanted a 40$ as deposit to make sure I don't waste her time as many clients did in the past. That made sense to me so I sent the 40 box via interac. I was not even worried about my identity, but just hesitant she would take the money and not show up. But to my surprise she did show up, but the girl that showed at my door had nothing to do with the girl on the ad. I did not let her get in, and decided to cancel the meeting, and she was not happy about that and still wanted a full payment. She yelled for quite a while in front of the buiding and finally left. Few minutes later I got threatening message with the SCREESHOT OF MY FACEBOOK PROFILE. She had MY REAL NAME and looked me up on internet. She could have seen my employer address on my linkedin profile and pay me a visit. I was scared as F**ck, but luckly she did not know my Apt# and had eventually stopped threatening. Ouf!! J'ai eu la peur de ma vie.
I have a short list of regular I am still sending interac to, but NEVER NEVER NEVER I will do that with a new girl. Same goes for outcall.

I hope you don’t mean full amount, which you should never do
But I still send etransfer to reputable sp’s, some ask for gift cards which I will opt for instead

EQ bank has an account that allows you to set the name that is displayed when you send money. It's free and takes 5 min to get set up online. You're welcome

Deposits are going to be increasingly required. Even for me, I'm having no choice but to make it mandatory for certain circumstances. That's what happens when people don't respect others time. A vet clinic I took my dog to required a deposit and I saw another business doing the same. It's going to be required more and more. Stick to reputable providers, and I don't see why it would be a problem. xo

Some people pay it upon arrival, not necessarily as a deposit. But you should ask beforehand if it's ok for the provider.

I would consider gift cards where my name is not logged in any way, shape or form but only for well known, well reviewed an well respected SPs.

Never any cash transfer not even EQ bank. Even though my visible name can be anything, the setup asks info which is much more personnel for tax reasons including you SIN.

I would much rather go the deposit route and the rest is given in person, unless I know and trust them and they do not mind it/agreed before the date. There is less potential of issues arising, and I like to know my part is taken care of.

Sure, maybe you don't so it's fair to speak for yourself. But I never leave my place unless my transportation is covered, period. You can take care of ordering the uber each way if you prefer not to provide a deposit. Failing that, you can book an incall.

I never had to ask for many years. I didn't wake up one day and think let's piss some people off and request a deposit for no reason. I was given no choice.

I respect the choice not to want to pay a deposit, I'm simply not the right person to see for an outcall. And it's that simple. Everyone I've seen for outcall in the last couple of years doesn't have an issue with the deposit or the alternative option.

I'm not sure if I didn't explain that clearly or if I misunderstood the comment I was responding to. I wasnt really referring to deposits but rather to the full amount due upon arrival. Most providers favor cash so it's not advertised. Many will refuse etransfer for anything other than deposit but occasionally others may agree if asked beforehand. Not something clients should assume though.
