On another note, i've spoken to a few sps (some former) who worked in the States & never will go back to work again. Some of them got busted by LE & were ordered to leave the country immediately or spend some time as a guest of Uncle Sam in the slammer. They chose to go back to Mtl, of course. Another i spoke with was dumped by her agency while she was on a 'visit' to California & she had to beg a buddy of mine to lend her money to get back home since she hadn't made a penny during her brief visit to La-La land.

I suppose this is why more and more Mtl-based sps are visiting other parts of Canada these days. It's not as open as in Mtl, but it's still quite safer for them to work elsewhere in Canada than it would be going to the States.

Strange. Incalls rule in Toronto as compared to outcalls & rarely do you hear about them being busted by LE. As a matter-of-fact, most of the Mtl sps working in Toronto due so under 'incall' circumstances. Yes, this even includes some of the better known FKS girls, among others. No pun intended.

Are outcalls really legal in Canada? If so, what's the difference between a pimp or pimpette making his or her money from someone going outdoors to see someone instead of staying in-house?

Incalls will get bothered when there's complaints from peoples in the area, drug trafficking, illegal immigrants or minors involved. Problem is, as a customer, there's often no way to know these issues before being busted... Who say the next door old lady doesn't call the cops every days? What if the girl serves as the local drug convenience stoor between customers? What if there's often a 14yo using this room for prostitution? Incalls, not for me!

Incalls to Toronto visiting from Mtl often stay in hotels where an "incall operation" would not operate from. Nothing like Chablis. Also, to avoid undue attention, it usually will be a room booked for a few days compared to most Montreal incalls in apartment or motels used mostly for this kind of stuff.

Yoyager , these sections have been here, and on TERB, for years and LE has been reading them for years. They don't even have to go that high tech, hell they just have to pick up the JdM and go through the ads. There are quite a few ads there everyday - as there are in some Toronto newspapers.

Obviously they need something more to make them act - like underage sex workers or complaints or obvious involvement of drugs or organized crime. The probable priorities for them would be street prostitution first, incall next and then massage. It doesn't appear as if they have time to pursue the second or third priorities much. But I agree best to stay away. They aren't an attractive option for me anyway.

Full service off-island strip clubs ( yuch) seem to get a pass too. Maybe they buy more tickets to the Policeman's Ball ?

I'm guessing they quite like having the boards as another source of info but the value of the info must pale to what they get from the street.

Same goes the other way around, that if the sp asks you if you're a cop and you say no, you can't arrest her for anything even if you are a cop.
