I hope your grandparents are safe Julia..I had family and friends that were affected by Harvey, but thankfully they're all ok. I can't say the same for some of their homes though

Don`t confuse hurricanes with tornados.
Also hurricanes have names and tornados don`t.....unless its Victoria.

One thing we don't appreciate enough about providers is the need for them to charge enough to cover business interruption.

One of my favorite providers is in Miami / Ft. Lauderdale. She is a college student and originally from another state, so she likely evacuated early.

But how long will it be before her business is back to normal? Locals will be spending money on repairs, not sex. And tourists will need to be reassured that the beach and tourist attractions are not damaged before they will come back.

There is no business interruption insurance policies for sex workers. Most regular employees of businesses will still get paid.

Well at least peoples from Florida had lots of time to evacuate. My guild leader from a video game is living there, she played with us 2 days ago and said to our FB page today she was evacuating. So at least the ones that did want to evacuate could do it. I know tough it sucks if your home (and inside properly) is damaged. I do hope the peoples where able to protect as much stuff as they could.

As for Irma... well its a VERY OLD NAME for us here in Quebec. Kinda like the Georgette, Monique and Ginette. Its the kind of name i doubt you would see, and therefore i doubt any SP would take. Monique is a very common name in the USA and used by many pornstars yet i have never seen an SP that took it... probably because for us the local it would be a bit weird. Just saying...

The level of flooding wiill be much more catastrophic once the glacier melt for good. Time to think about our way of life.

Swear to god they just interviewed an american on LCN tv news who said he witnessed many hurricanes in the last 40 years saying he had never seen one of such forces. And he clearly felt its getting worse and worse. Journalist asked him if he felt climate change could be responsible. He clearly answer "No! Not at all. Someone is playing with our climate and is responsible for this". My god.... Speechless against such a level of brainwashed people...
