I would say most girls choosing the escort life have 2 things in common for sure.
They want to make a lot of money in a short period and they are not very good at following work protocol and keeping to rules and turn to escorting because they have difficulty in holding onto civi jobs. Escorting gives them the freedom to work as much as they want and when they want
The majority I would think are not great rule followers.

I personally I don’t blame them for trying to break rules and trying to earn more money, agencies in my mind are not there to offer a great way of life for these girls, they are in it for the money and are used to a huge turn over and constantly losing girls.
In todays world companies don’t really give a shit about their employees they are doing everything for the bottom line, they keep you as long as you make them a profit. the days where you work 30-40 years for one company like I did are in the past.
You want loyalty get a dog.
Tbh though, I followed all the rules. To sum it up very, very briefly, I got fired because I said I will wait until 11:30 (for an 11:00 appointment), then would leave if they haven’t showed up.

Manager got mad AT ME (who arrived at 10:45…). Asked if I had “somewhere else to be”, to which I said “yes, home to rest because I have to come back here at 5:00 to work”.

She somehow took it personal and said “well if you’re tired, I’m exhausted. Take your shit and go home, I don’t want you here tired”.

As I was packing “my shit”, she came back and said “you know what? Don’t come back tonight, don’t come back at all: I don’t want you here” and proceeded to insult me (honestly, I wasn’t really listening anymore.)

She was doing me a favor at this point, so I just said “ok” took my things and left.

Nothing is easy in life including holding on to a job. I am sure most of us can come up with stories where we either had to bite our lip or walk even with careers that most times was fabulous, there is never a limit on assholes, you just can’t let them win and learn how to handle them.
Sorry you had to go through that you are better off without an employer like that.

That’s exactly what I was telling myself while she was going off. Besides, what point would arguing have made? It’s not like she would have listened, and I felt like I was keeping my dignity while she was going as low as insulting me (saying “go get a job, I don’t need you, I already have a job”. Now that I think about it, there were a few comparisons in her arguments: “you’re tired well I’m exhausted”, “you don’t have a job anymore and I do”)

...You’re so weird… I already am working elsewhere… And no, it’s not an escort agency.
I'm not weird, just skeptical (a trait that is sometimes in short supply among my fellow MERBites).

Why should anyone here believe your story? You have no credibility, no track record of useful or interesting posts; you initially provided no information such as, your experience, your background, your age, what kind of sex work you were doing, etc.

Your first post is what's weird. You implied that you were hoping to reconnect with a client but, judging by how this thread has progressed, you really seem to be seeking sympathy for getting fired.

OK, sorry you got fired.

But why should we believe that you are not at least partially at fault for getting fired? Since there are always two sides to every story, I am sure that your former boss would offer another side to the story.

As I noted, it's not easy for employers in the sex business to find girls who have the necessary qualifications (looks, service, attitude) to be successful. They don't just fire good employees for no good reason. I don't know what your former boss would say about your firing but I am sure her version of events would be different from yours.

As I also noted, it's very easy for a girl with the right qualifications to jump to another employer almost immediately--we hear about this fact all the time here on MERB. You said "I am already working elsewhere," so it's not like you have to search for a new job for months.

Getting fired is not a pleasant experience--many of us have experienced it at some point in our lives. You should analyze what happened to you to see whether you could have handled your job and your boss in a better way. Then you should forget about it and focus on your new job.

At the same time, you should analyze whether working in a massage parlor is a good job for you. Yes, the hours are flexible and the pay is good compared to say, working in a store, but it's not a job for everyone.

You're welcome.

Honestly, I did not enjoy working at that massage parlor because of the abusive rules. The other masseuses were actually all very nice, I have nothing bad to say about them whatsoever. But no matter how I tried to bend backward for management, it wasn’t good enough.

I felt relief when she fired me, so you shouldn’t feel bad about it. I don’t! The only thing I feel bad about, as originally stated, is following the damn rules and not giving my contact info to that client.

I sincerely don’t think he’d be in a forum like this, so I wasn’t attempting to get in contact (as you said, I provided no details that could indicate who I am and who he might be). I was just venting to hopefully a crowd who would understand.

Hum…social networks and forums aren’t best places to vent. The thing is, there ain’t much places like merb.
Let’s hope you’ll get some fresh air from members. We don’t like to let our ladies in sad mood. Some of us are perverted good buddies and we exchange to help each other.:)
