I am talking about presents for friends and co-workers. Budget about $15 - $25 ea. Or I may have to resort to Laura Secord chocolates like the other years.

A well selected, individualized card with a food certificate (Publix is my choice) seems impersonal, but in my world is the most appreciated. Other gifts are usually saved for regifting next year.

Now if it's a "female friend" you can't go wrong with Vermont Teddy Bears: www.Vermontteddybear.com

Just about anyone will save this present for the balance of their lives, if properly done. You can give these for hospital stays and you'd be surprised at the reaction. I've actually had people call me from intensive care to thank me for these. They're totally customizeable, cute as hell and come with their own little home.

SP's love them and a few of Montreal's finest have these bears...LOL

Gift Certificates/Cards for
1.Restaurants
2.Movie Theatres
3.Coffee Shops
4.Stores of any kind
5.Or even a Mall gift card, that way they have plenty of choices to use it

I suggest holiday e-cards for all. They're FREE!

Brand new, average-sized Vermont Teddy Bears are a bit pricey, but I found a like-new one on e-bay for my Dog for $10. As you can see, for the truly important people in my life, I spare no expense.
