Manscaping - any tips?

So I finally took the plunge and did a little yard keeping.

Went with a scissor and a brush (for protection, not combing!), did a little trimming all around, and frankly, it turned out better than I thought.

It looks and feels a lot cleaner, the only downside was little chafing when walking around. Next time I'll leave a bit more height at the top.

Which got me thinking, do you manscape? If so, any tips on how to do it safely and comfortably?

The safe way is trimming, as you mentioned, not shaving. Shaving runs the risk of cuts, pimples and infection. For trimming, I use the Philips Bodygroom.

Boxer briefs will help cut down the chaffing.

You could go the chemical way, there are some depilatory creams for that region now. But you have to be very careful, it's easy to get chemical burns if you leave it too long.

It's actually called a Manzillian, I do get waxed the first time hurts a little because of the trimming or shaving. But I'll tell one thing it lasts 6 weeks +

what works for me:
depilatory creams followed by trimming with regular scissors to remove/ even spots where cream failed

I avoid shaving because there is too much risk of cuts,
waxing looks too painful. Besides, at the end of the day, I don't need "baby smooth" balls; just to look reasonably trimmed
