If the boycott was propelled by personal agendas and not the fact that merb is constantly being dragged through the mud over on the other board... I sincerely doubt its validity
Ricky, if you are to accuse Rumple of having a personal agenda here, I would encourage you to state what this personal agenda is, unless you consider his own personal drive for sex to be an agenda. He used the services of a boycotted agency while no end of the boycott was announced. That was just plain stupid and idiot. And he has lost a tremendous amount of credibility in the process. He has admitted his faults and presented excuses for it. You make your own judgment about what his credibility is today. I’ll keep mine for myself. But, whatever judgement someone makes, I see no personal agenda in his actions up to date. I guess you’ll admit that the use of the services of a boycotted agency is certainly not any proof of a personal agenda against that agency.
Rumple did organize the boycott and I am thankful to him. But the idea of this boycott did not come from Rumple. I am the one who proposed it right here
https://merb.cc/vbulletin/showthrea...rected-at-MERB-from-MERC.-How-do-we-stop-it#2. The purpose of the post was to try to show who was the ultimately responsible for the mess. And if you want to discuss any personal agenda on my side, Ricky, you are welcome to do so. I would also like to point out that any personal agenda concerning Sapman have been cleared. And if this needs to be cleared out also: I have had no private communication with either of them about the boycott prior to last week. Is is an open discussion going on in this thread.
Discussing people’s agenda is legitimate. I agree. But, whatever your imagination drives you to, the issues remain entirely: steeling of copy write material, collecting and disclosing of personal identity, publishing of private e-mails without the consent of their authors, defamation, accusations of criminal behaviours by people here on MERB and so on.
You want to stick your head in the sand and refuse to see these issues? Fine. But I just want you to know that wherever you want to drive this discussion, the issues remain.
