HAHAHAHA

How ironic that some people take merb rules very seriously but not the current laws.

I do take the laws very seriously ,thats why I consult my lawyers to keep out of trouble .
But respecting a forum rule is also important if you wish to stay on it and have its benefits .

Cheers

Although they don't need an A-list lawyer, it's surprising they have not retained BookerL, since he knows everything about escorting and Canadian constitutional law:lol:

I'm guessing we will see G4U reincarnated as an unambiguously legal business. Maybe an advertising and/ or driving service??? SexyIndies was trying to do something like this.

But I don't claim to know everything, and maybe I have been fed a load of BS. But I am reporting what I have heard and I tend to believe it.

Really. They will defend a Catholic order that buggered young boys for decades but not touch this?

As usual we are not talking of the same thing you are talking after the facts and the arrest ,I am talking of advice on how to commit a better crime .
Co-conspiracy being a crime ,obviously a Criminal lawyer would not provide advice on how to realize the perfect crime .

Cheers

Actually what I know or don't know about the law or escorting isn't really relevant here ,since I am retired from the business without any criminal records !
If you are to pay a lawyer for stupid advice ,how will value anyone ,a opinion of a lawyer is valuable only if he understands all ramifications that are involve otherwise its kind of futile

Escorting Industry is complicated because you are not delivering pizzas but ladies and the human factor is a large equation in the success or none success

Driving people without a taxi license is also illegal ,advertising ?

The purpose of changing is to avoid what exactly ?

Entertaining thread...

But some of us tend to forget that one of the main rules in this hobby is to hold his tongue. Especially if you don't know anything AT ALL...

BREAKING NEWS!

It seems like it will be a star studded event this saturday night at Le Centre Bell. Mike and James have both signed a contract to have a MMA style grudge match to settle things between them because they hate each other so much (haha)

Come early and fill up on Molson's and Popcorn because the event's proceeds will be donated to charity (they passed on a huge payday) which is a nice gesture on their behalf since they are broke do to mismanagement. (bwhahaha)

-----The undercard will be a star studded affair as well as the rest of the nights guests. In the opener it will be Nazem "the dream" Kadri vs. Brendan "top of the morning to ya" Gallagher in a battle of lightweights.

-----Next up, Hungry101 vs. SpecialK, the winner gets a date with the famous Brittany/Liz (asservissante/eleganza) both of these guys loved that girl as did yours truly, can we make this a three way battle royal guys? :)

;)

I don't like people from Boston with the way they drop their R's and park their cars in Harvard yard....etc. etc. They gave ever the best baseball player for some fag play.

So come on down Boston Strong Boy. To the centrally located, ample parking facilities, well-lit Forum.....SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!!!!!!!

THERE WILL BE MONSTER TRUCKS!!!!!!

Do not care if they consult a lawyer or not ( not the reason I am putting this here ) but why can someone not ask a lawyer if something is illegal or not? Think outside of the box, what is wrong with going to a lawyer and propose to them what your business model is and ask for their professional advice.

STN, and for everyone's better understanding actually:

Not that it is ever wrong to seek an expert's advice, but your take is not exactly right…

Bluntly:

Even more so now because of C-36, anyone that, nicely or not, provides help/support in any way to a SP is committing a crime.

While ‘agency escorting’ is tolerated because, quite frankly, most people are turning a blind eye, it remains illegal. Therefore, the entire ‘business model’ you are referring to is illegal.

There isn’t a lawyer in his right mind that will give advices on the best ways to commit a crime, or on which technique is working best at breaking the Law because well… one is, or is planning on breaking the Law, and the lawyer certainly wishes not to participate (in any direct or indirect way). Yes, that includes the 'business model' and management of SP agencies.

As for an A lawyer to not touch that???? Really. They will defend a Catholic order that buggered young boys for decades but not touch this?

There is a world between defending a person/corporation/religious order/etc. against whom/which charges have been brought up in a Court of Law (certainly legal), and, as per explained above, “consulting” on how to commit a “better” crime (a crime in itself, conspiracy).

Lawyer's job is to tell you how not to break the law ! To explain what a loop hole is or until what extend you can push the law . We are on new ground rules and c-36 as not been tested yet . Hobby safe ! And do not worry too much nobody as been arrested yet , it's the kind of news that police likes to share and scare !!

I would enjoy seeing the look on the face of the religious Mr. Harper if he were to read of your wish that your favorite escort service arise from the dead on Easter weekend like the savior, our Lord Jesus Christ. Probably the best comment so far on this often rather silly thread.

YAAAAAAA!!!!! Girls4U gonna be back strong !! Can't wait !! :)
I predict for Good friday

Unbelievable how 2 people want to sidetrack this discussion by asserting there's not a single attorney in Montreal who would consult on these matters, especially when it is not illegal to operate an escort agency for companionship purposes.

But the point of my post was (from what I heard from a very reliable source) G4U is evaluating recent developments and looking to change their business model.

I don't know if they are consulting attorneys, and I'm sure they did not walk into Stikeman Elliot's office today and ask for help.

Lawyer's job is to tell you how not to break the law ! To explain what a loop hole is or until what extend you can push the law .

If that lawyer wants to keep that job, hopefully he will tell you that the entire context of SP agencies = not good to not break the Law !
Nevermind loopholes and pushing to extends.

The secrecy of this business is harsh on all.
