STN, and for everyone's better understanding actually:
Not that it is ever wrong to seek an expert's advice, but your take is not exactly right…
Bluntly:
Even more so now because of C-36, anyone that, nicely or not, provides help/support in any way to a SP is committing a crime.
While ‘agency escorting’ is tolerated because, quite frankly, most people are turning a blind eye, it remains illegal. Therefore, the entire ‘business model’ you are referring to is illegal.
There isn’t a lawyer in his right mind that will give advices on the best ways to commit a crime, or on which technique is working best at breaking the Law because well… one is, or is planning on breaking the Law, and the lawyer certainly wishes not to participate (in any direct or indirect way). Yes, that includes the 'business model' and management of SP agencies.
There is a world between defending a person/corporation/religious order/etc. against whom/which charges have been brought up in a Court of Law (certainly legal), and, as per explained above, “consulting” on how to commit a “better” crime (a crime in itself, conspiracy).
