Well, i heard it from her own mouth on several talkshows that she left Mtl for Florida when she was 12 and had only been back to Canada for a couple of years during her teens, so who knows. It's possible that she spent the fall/winter seasons in the States where she attended school and the tennis academy, and returned to Canada once school was over during the spring/summer months, and resumed tennis training there, and back to Florida once summer was over.
Even her coach Nick Saviano has indicated in interviews that she's been a pupil of his since the age of 12 when she attended his tennis academy. However, i believe she left his tutorship for a few years and was coached by former french tennis star Natalie Tauziat. She went back to Saviano a year ago, i believe. So it's entirely possible that Tauziat was her coach when she went back to Canada for a few years.
But if you'd be french, you'd notice that when she speaks french, it's in very broken french, meaning she likely hadn't spoken much french since she left Canada at the age of 12.
She is indeed attractive and has great long legs. I believe she dated Bruins prospect Jordan Caron last year. One of the young habs prospects made a pass at her (via twitter) last fall and she basically told him to get lost and that she had her sights on Jordan Caron.
