I just read the interview. How boring. Maybe that is not the right word but Stern's #1 interview was Neil Young so we could hear about his feud with Crosby and fracking in the Gulf which I am certain Neil knows nothing about. I sure like Neil Young's music. I watched a concert and Neil told some anecdotes about the inspiration behind a few songs. The Old Man story was kind of interesting.

Look behind you.
I boycotted Neil after his rants against the oil sands. In the old days he would never give in to money and now when some environmentalist group pays for his concert he is all for it. I heard the live interview after the fact and he admitted he knew nothing about the oil sands............. Neil Young can pound some sand now.

I can't get over the fact he was in a band with Rick James! Can you imagine 2 more opposite musicians!!

He was on Stephen Colbert's show the other night. I missed the interview. I'm a big Neil Young fan. I own many of his albums & dvd concerts. I saw him live twice & the last concert of his that i saw (in Montreal) just a few years ago had to be one of my all-time favorites. He ended the concert with the Beatles song "A Day in the Life". Briliant!

My favorite Neil Young songs are Powderfinger, Keep on Rockin' in the Free World, Heart of Gold, Cinnamon Girl, Old Man and Harvest Moon, among others. The concert movie he made with Jonathan Demme has to be one of my favorite dvd concerts of all time!

Many years ago i attended a San Jose Sharks/Toronto Maple Leafs playoff game at the old Maple Leafs Gardens & saw that Neil Young was in attendance with his father, writer/journalist Scott Young. Neil now looks a lot like his late father, who wrote many hockey books.
