The answer to all your questions is actually yes, many of us are living proof of all of the above :)

For a business you haven't worked a day in, I wouldn't be giving advice since you have no personal experience, only prejudice.

Like I said AmberRose, all women working in this business are messed up to some degree. Your logic is amazing.Whats your true background ? Lawyer, Rocket Scientist ?

Absolutely true. I Have not worked a day in this business. I am a customer, so basically one of the "messed up". And a very happy one. Still, without prejudice, based on everyone I saw over the past few years, I would still recommand like Lawless to anyone thinking about going into it this industry to avoid.

I believe this thread has gone off topic from what the thread starter has inquired about. Chloe, je crois que c'est un bon départ de t'informer avec Indy Companions(Amber Rose, Amélie)

As for the opinions expressed regarding entering the SP profession, there is no right answer.

Would I want my child to enter this profession? If I am to be honest, no I would not. While I have met many well-adjusted and classy courtisans in this hobby, there have also been many who have just not been able to cope with being in the industry.

This discussion has come up through my encounters. I'm told some of the agencies hold extreme demands on time, personal favours, sitting in cars waiting for calls, etc (I actually witnessed when an outcall arrived, an SP who was in the same car as the SP I had called, get out and urinate on the street in front of my home) Some other factors that could derail someone's plans are drugs, alcohol, organized crime.

In my experience, the SP's whom have shown some longevity in this profession, have had a plan. Entry and exit. Many have used it as an avenue to get through their studies. Others to secure capital for a business plan. Some have their private life jobs and do it to supplement their income. The one main common denominator was they sincerely enjoyed sex. Those who do it solely for the money, haven't fared well. While I will not name names, most MERB members would know the SP's whom have fallen into difficult times.

Bottom line is this industry is tough. We should not sugar coat this industry. Chloe should ask as many questions as possible. It is very generous of Amber and Amelie to offer their help to her.

There are great agencies out there that provide great working conditions as well.

Je te souhaite bonne chance Chloe!!

Incall or outcall depends on yourself
Looks like security is your main concern, so maybe you should start with a reputable agency
Indy companion is good if you want to go indy
Some other reputable agency if you want to go agency
If you need someone to manage your schedule then probably agency better
Good luck, pm me or others if you want

Wise words.

Chloe, I too would be pleased to answer any questions you may have. I actually started myself just like this - 2 1/2 years ago I posted on merb that I wanted to get into the business and a couple generous independents gave me their advice. (My only previous experience in the sex industry was as a stripper out west, where I'm from.) Shortly afterwards I posted my first ad and I've never looked back. I also have an interesting perspective as I work full-time as a professional in the corporate world in addition to escorting. It's a lot of work but I love it and wouldn't change a thing!

In my opinion IF you are old enough and emotionally mature enough to handle this business and if you are in it for the right reasons you can certainly be successful, happy and well-adjusted. Yes some girls do get "messed up" by the business, but the majority of providers that I have met are doing well.

I don't think of myself as cynical but I'm skeptical of the OP. At the very least, if the post is legitimate, then the answer is obvious: any young woman whose first step in entering the business is to ask naive questions on a review site should certainly NOT be posting her pictures and offering her services any time soon. She's not trying to learn how to make maple syrup or jump start a dead battery. In any case, the discussion that the OP produced is itself interesting and provocative, which I appreciate as always on this forum.

I applaud MochaLaMulata's post #34 :thumb: Very well said and very honest. Message was unbiased and no sugar coating involved. I could not have said it before. To the others who are judging that is just personal opinion leave it up to Chloe to judge for herself based on her needs. She only wanted info on the industry. Your best bet is to contact the independent SPs who are actually in the industry themselves who can provide you with a perspective as a provider. MochaLaMulata's post is by far the best one I read so far.

If my daughter was old enough, emotionally mature enough and was to escort because she enjoyed it, then absolutely yes. This is not a shameful profession, and can be a positive experience for many women.

I totally agree with you Tiannas! I consider and treat sex workers with the greatest respect and I'd do it if I had the assets. These brave ladies provide therapy for me, truly. I use my brain to prostitute myself for my clients and bosses. And I see no difference except I get intellectual stimulation from my work (but not the business of the work I do, which I detest) and hopefully escorts, whether female or male, get (occasional) enjoyment out of their work as I must imagine many clients are very nice people.

I love debutantes so I generally go through agencies, mostly Montreal Sex City (Ms. Jessy is an angel), XXXtase and recently Euphoria Girls (James is great).

Unfortunately, I don't speak French and I've had no problems having fun with Quebecoise, whom I actually prefer. (Maybe I'll get a place in Montreal and find a Quebecoise girlfriend who can teach me French, which I love listening to.

Mods, IMHO this thread should be made a sticky.

Sorry for the English readers, since chloeeloise is French, as most of the girls on this forum, I found more appropriate to reply in French.

This can help ;): https://translate.google.com

BadChap, I appreciate very much what you're saying and I believe that you are respectful and considerate in your time with the girls you see. I truly think they must be grateful to see you. But I've spent a lot of time thinking about the ethics of being in this "hobby," and I have reservations about your comments. I very much believe that women should have the right to their bodies and their lives, and that being an SP should, in an ideal world, be considered an honorable profession. But surely there are significant differences between being an agency girl and being a professional businessperson (as I assume you are). For one thing, I imagine that what you do is legal and widely respected; for another, I imagine that your job does not complicate or inhibit romantic relationships; and finally, I imagine that your job does not subject you to constant exposure to disease or the constant threat of harassment, discomfort, or even violence from your clients. (Maybe I'm wrong! Maybe you have a more exotic job than I'm imagining!) This is particularly true for agency debutantes, who are especially vulnerable. I've spoken to enough of them to know that, while there are some wonderful and even exciting experiences in their job, they also have to go to lousy hotels and meet with creeps and worse, and they are ripe for exploitation. In general, being an agency escort is not an easy gig. All the more reason to admire, appreciate, and reward the work they do.

Now I'm not a complete hypocrite; I'm out here and I understand the interest in both agency girls and in debutantes. I've indulged that way. But in general, it's mostly the indy SPs who are able to have some level of autonomy in their work. Many of them are indeed honorable professionals, mature and self-aware; they provide a wonderful service to their clients. I wish our cultures were more sophisticated and could legalize, for the safety and health and pleasure of everyone. But without that, it's complicated when we start talking ethics. I do my best to research and try to assure myself that I'm not contributing to an SP's vulnerability and difficulties--and I know that sometimes I'm being naive.

I'm sorry to be so serious in a forum based on pleasure. But I'm interested in the reality of the hobby as well as the fantasy. And, in the end, I do believe that women should be able make their own choices about their lives, and that the best we can do is be considerate and respectful--exactly as you say.

Being poor sucks, and escorting allows a great many young women earn a very solid living. We realize it will not last forever, and we hope they use it as a means to the end, rather than it being the only source of revenue and support they will have in life.
True. It's up to the girl to see if such a lifestyle can be a positive for her.

Take my ATF. She had a regular job during the week, then was working as an escort the weekend. She was able to pay 6 months rent in advance and when she retired she had money in the bank and was positive about the future. Was she in love with the hobby? Not at all, she hated it, but she was able to find a way to make it tolerable ( having a normal job during the week, only working as a SP 2 or 3 days a week ).

If a girl think she can handle it then it's up to her to find the best way to go through it with her sanity and a few extra bucks in her pocket. I think my ATF had the best mentality about it: 1. don't be a full time escort, 2. keep a "normal" job, she told me it really helped her getting through the tough days at the brothel and she kept her sanity because of it, because it was tough for her at time to work there. But she made it because she had her limits and respected them. :)

I give you the opposite advice : don't talk too much with experienced indies.

NEVER do anything you don't want to do / Always have a plan B / Stop this job the day you won't have fun anymore.
