I work for a major hotel chain that has a number of properties in Montreal, and I would be willing to assist my fellow merbites in finding accommodations for the GT! I can get great rates as an employee and would be happy to help at no personla or financial gain for myself. I hope it is ok to make this offer MOD's? Montreal GT​

Open invitation to all merbites. We have a nice evening planned out, with an ambiance that is conduscive to make this a great GT!. A nice VIP section is reserved at Sharx's on St Catherine offering us a nice cozy nook.

At this moment we have a few agencies that have confirmed their attendance and waiting on answers form other agencies and Indies.

In trying to make this a better GT we have the oppertunity of having food catered for this event. Now to make this a great happening I would need some help from my fellow merbites! Really simple actually!

In order to get the food catered, we must get an order in two weeks before the event, which would make it July 4,2008. I would like to know if 1) we want food catered and an idea of what foods. Based on this I will get a quote and indicate a per person cost, I anticipate something along the lines of 15 or 20 bucks a head .

So let me know ASAP...

GT In SinCity

I’ve started a new thread so that we can self-invite by adding ourselves to the poll. Remember, once you vote, your name is public.

This GT is not an invite only GT. It’s open to members and non-members. Come as you want after 10, and preferably around 10. Talk, chichat, have a drink, play pool, observe, drool, do whatever you want. No costumes required.

It’s clean place and is not a shady hotel room.

I would like to take this oppertunity and thank the ones who have confirmed their presences for this GT! I would also like to thank the agencies and Indies who have also confirmed their presences. This is surely shaping up to be one of the biggest GT yet.

As such I would like to remind eveyone that we have reserved the VIP room specialy for this occasion and that we have a semi private area to mingle . I want eveyone to be very comfortable and to enjoy themselves.

Sharx is on St. Catherine street, you are probably best parking on Rene Levesque which is to the south, there tends to be open spaces at RL & Guy street, then it is a one-block walk.
