Guess the date tends to be Friday, October 7. Now comes the debate on the location. The previous parties were more on Hotel de La Montagne but it's less fun - to my opinion - as we had more fun at a Strip Joint. So can we agree on a Strip Joint?

Is there a site that have to go on to let anybody if we will be there? Do we know which agencies or girls will be showing up if any at all? Its a friday night so I am sure they will be booked as well. Then again if we are all in the same SJ, who will call. hehe

There is a party date already establisher for Oct 1 at HDLM.
The date was set about a month ago.

By the way if it were at a strip joint you would get hardly any indys going and probably no agencies.

Yup I know, I was told. Again, in a democratic board, I guess it's up to its members to vote, no? And so far, people prefer a long week-end over, a non-holiday week-end. Also, non-locals prefer to visit on long holidays. That said, we have had SPs coming to the parties even in SJ.naughtylady said:

Parties in strip clubs are not the way to go. First off it's far too noisy, Secondly if it's on a Friday or Saturday the place will usually be jampacked and that makes it difficult to even approach and sit with an sp, and lastly you'll get far less sp's to attend than if it were at the HDLM. Why would you remove the URL to a site where no posting activity goes on but only has party info? Is it because another board advertises on the sponsors page? Seems pretty lame to me.
Do the mods not want the members here going to the party? Why? It is just a big meet and greet (where everybody is welcome) and a whole lot of fun. "So you are SO-and SO!!!! Nice to attach a face to your handel! I read your posts!"
Maybe I am being a bit naive, I do realise that there are politics going on with with another board and also with certain members but this party is supposed to be independant of all that.
With an earlier thread about this party disappearing, and then a URL to a site with the party details being removed, what am I supposed to think?

It's starting to seem that nothing that is independant of this board is permitted anymore. Personal differences the mods have with members or former members should not determine the content of the board. If Merb administration have a problem with the other board being a sponsor of the party why don't they just help out and pitch in as a sponsor themselves. These parties are enjoyed by members of both boards, and most of us do belong to both boards. This pissing contest is getting very childish. I thought we were supposed to be all adults here, especially considering the nature of these boards. As I posted in another thread...the existance of these boards is totally dependant on it's members. No members, no advertisers. And this board is losing it's senior posters on a regular basis. Keep this up and the board will consist solely of newbies looking for info and no one here to give it.
