After posting in it just a day ago, I searched the first two pages of the lounge and it was no where to be found.
What happened? Were board rules broken somehow? Was someone punished? But still, why delete the rest of the thread?

If someone finds it feel free to merge this into it because following are my picks for this week.

Indy over Tenn.
Chicago over Buffalo
N.E. over Miami
Dallas over Philly (I'm worried about this one though)

I believe BDC started the thread. I've been away for the last couple of days so I'm still not up to speed on why he was banned. But there is a precedent for restoring a thread even if the originator is banned, as long as there overwhelming demand to have it restored. I would vote to see it restored.

I would second that emotion Picasso. I believe BDC did start the thread and I have no inkling as to why he would have deleted it himself and your saying he is banned? I certainly didn't see anything out of order in this thread, could we please have it restored? The record of all our picks and predictions is in there.

Post Script, just checked out the suspension thread and see where BDC had a meltdown in the Muslim thread. Too bad theres so many people losing their cool around here lately. But the NFL thread doesn't need to dissapear because of his comments in another unrelated thread. I don't even know if the MOD's are responsible for this, just requesting that they restore it if possible, please and thank you.

Someone can always just start a new thread on the same subject. I don't believe that it was closed or deleted by the mods so there should be nothing preventing someone from doing so.

Ouch!

I think I know what it feels like to be a Yankee fan right now after watching the Cowboys fuck the dog during that pathetic excuse for a football game. Bledsoe showed us again what a great athlete he is  and to be quite honest I don't blame T.O. for being just a bit perturbed at him. What good is one of the best receivers in the game if you can't throw the ball to him, or at least throw him a catchable ball. Yeah he was doubled for good portion of the game but Drew has to find the open man and make good throws in a reasonable amount of time. Hanging out in the pocket against an aggressive D is not an option. I was disappointed in the coachings inability to adjust to what Philly was doing and exploit what vulnerabilities they exposed themselves too.

The running game was no more than average which didn't help and the D got toasted on two big plays for scores that IMO changed the course of the game. If not for falling for a flea flicker and a double move in the second half the Cowboys quite possibly could have won that game. What hurts the worst is that Bledsoe after seemingly leading the Cowboys down the field for a game tying score in the final seconds of the game which would have breathed new life into Dallas absolutely choked, AGAIN, throwing an INT in the end zone  which was returned for the Coup de Gras TD. At some point the Cowboys must decide if Drew shouldn't be benched so Tony Romo can have a shot. I believe Drew should play next week against Houston and I think they will bounce back and win, however if Drew blows another game I do not want to see him starting against the Giants on MNF in two weeks.

Other than my Chokeboys I took 3 out of 4 again so the winning % is still above 80 for the year at 18 out of 22. I would give it all up for a little consistency from Dallas though. I fear Parcells will not return for another year of frustration due to wasted potential from a team which should be performing much better than they are.

Is it because Parcells drafted him all those years ago and thus views Bledsoe as a barometer of his career, too?

Thats an excellent point BT, I wonder if he has toyed with the idea in his mind and is having a hard time coming to grips with the reality that he may at some point indeed have to bench Drew for the good of the team. Perhaps Parcells who despite his tough outer shell has been known to have strong emotional attachments to certain players feels a fatherly sort of relationship to Drew and is quite aware what it would do to him to sit him down without ever having achieved his dream of leading a team to a Super Bowl Championship. Its always a miserable burden to bear to have to tear down someone elses dreams.

Not that I think Parcells isn't capable of doing it, I just think Bledsoe will have to blow a couple more games before it happens and I can't see the Cowboys losing to Houston this week, or any other for that matter. The Giants however the following week present a much more serious challenge in an all important division game. If Drew blows that we will hear the calls for his head blaring at high volume.

1. Walter should be playing in the CFL
2. Porter is a immature baby(will be traded by tuesday, will be interesting to see which team gets him),
3. Gallery by the way he is playing just might rival Cryin Ryan as the worst second overall pick ever in the NFL.
4. Moss is the best WR in football bar none(Owens included) and because of reason number 1 his numbers suck this year.
5. Offensive line is the worst in NFL.

need i go on?
