If the Penguins could go back in time 4 years ago when they exposed Fleury to the expansion draft in favor of keeping Matt Murray as their goalie (who is no longer with the Penguins), you think they would rethink that decision? They thought Fleury was all washed up. However, Fleury has played some of the best hockey of his career in the last 4 years.

Isles' Trotz calls out refs for missed call in loss
New York Islanders coach Barry Trotz said he was "disappointed" in officials for missing that the Lightning had seven skaters on the ice for a key goal in Tampa Bay's 4-2 win Tuesday night.
LoL!...What about one of the worst playoff penalty calls I have seen in years that favored Trotz earlier in the game....
The call on Tampa's Brayden Point for goalie interference when he was shoved into the NYI goalie by a NYI defenceman. The Islanders tied the game on the ensuing power play!
The ref knew they blew that call because the league must have heard the swearing coming from Tampa's management! So the too many men on the ice call was a make up call! Too bad for the NYI and Bettman!

The refs did blow it on Point being shoved into Varlamov. Varlamov was knocked on his ass and might have been concussed, but as you mentioned Point was shoved and couldn't stop. Apparently, the refs felt that Point should have stopped, just as they felt Scheifele should have put on the brakes for Jake Evans

Kreider was clearly tripped/slashed by the Montreal defender, who should have been called for interference, and Kreider should have been given a penalty shot.

A) 2021 - Brendan Point was shoved into Varlamov ...but you say Penalty on Point because he could have stopped!
B) 2014 - Kreider was shoved into Price ...but you say No Penalty on Kreider because he could not have stopped!

Kreider was slashed and was sent out of control into Price. BTW Kreider is probably the highest character/integrity guy on the Rangers team, and would never hurt an innocent goalie.

Hell of a game. Fleury shit the bed by giving up that late goal, but the Habs came back after a missed 5 minute major high stick call by taking care of business, staying composed and winning the game! Bravo!

Nothing like a game 7! Islander fans are going absolutely crazy here in NY. It would be pretty incredible to have the Islanders vs the Habs in the finals. Original 6 team vs a once successful and proud expansion team. Makes for a great story.
