I agree however Huet was pretty amazing against Carolina. He could be an excellent asset this year, provided he doesn't get hurt again...picasso said:But once Carey takes over at goalie, he'll give the Habs a chance to win in most games. The kid is the real deal. He's that good.
picasso said:Habs could surprise a lot of the so-called experts this year. I know everyone and his mother have already written them off this season even before the first puck of the regular season has dropped. But once Carey takes over at goalie, he'll give the Habs a chance to win in most games. The kid is the real deal. He's that good. I also like the speed of Grabovski on the front line.

Doc Holliday said:As for Grabovski, don't be surprised if he's back in Hamilton by the end of the month in order to make way for the return of Lapierre.
Doc Holliday said:For my money, the Huet/Price tandem isn't any better than either the Toskala/Raycroft or Emery/Gerber tandems.
Doc Holliday said:I predict a Leafs win on Saturday night against the weaker Habs. The score? 5-3 Leafs. Go Leafs!!
JustBob said:Third game in four days for the Leafs. Sorry, even a non-Habs fan here would know on which team to put their money.
Just finished watching the game on TV.gohabsgo said:Can’t wait for the home opener, the Bell Centre will be rocking!
Doc Holliday said:Enjoy it while it lasts. It won't.
The season is actually 2 games older for the laughable Leafs than for the Senators, Bruins or Habs. If you look at points per game played, they're also behind Tampa Bay, the Islanders, and Pittsburgh. They're quite fortunate that the NHL admits 143 teams into the playoffs. Let's see where they are next August when the cup is finally decided.Doc Holliday said:Big deal. The season is barely 10 games old & there is still a lot of hockey to be played. I just checked the standings & the habs are only 1 point ahead of those loveable Leafs.
Doc Holliday said:You include the awful Bruins & the poor Habs in the same league as the Ottawa Senators?
Season ends in June, by the way. Not August.
