I love MERB and I enjoy the MERB community but we are a bit spoiled here.

Now for the life of me, if someone wants to get a free 15 days of VIP membership and they decide to write a fake review...why in the world would they compound their error by writing a critical review? If I were to do it I think I would take the average rating and services and write something as milk toast as possible and not try to stand out?

I honestly think we're all more or less on the same page here, just with different perspectives. And I agree completely with your assessment: my guess is that many of the fake reviews (and, as Tianna points out, we all know it's a problem) are exactly what you say: attempts to write an average review under the radar.

There is a function on TER that enables you to check a reviewer's review posting history. With a click of one button, all of a reviewer's posted reviews on TER pop up on your screen. If there is any suspicion about the accuracy of the review or its bias, you can see if he is posting reviews of other girls at the same spa, agency or MP quite easily. The review history feature is one where TER is actually superior to a board like MERB. On MERB you can only see a poster's entire posting history, which might might be 5,000 Lounge posts and 2 reviews, and good luck finding 2 posts of 5,000.

I recently had a 3 month VIP membership on TER in order to search for MP girls I could see in NYC. I should note, there are far less MP reviews than escort reviews posted on TER, but in a large city like NYC, there are some MP reviews. As I mentioned previously, I did find a helpful review on a girl at Madison Holistic, and I discovered that Madison Holistic is a very reliable midtown Manhattan MP.

None of the VIP reviews are short and sweet executive summaries. This is by design because as a prior poster mentioned, not enough details means your review gets rejected. A massage girl who only gives HJ service even if that is all that is desired can only get a maximum of 7 in service. That is simply not fair. If I say a girl is 10 in service who the hell is TER's censor to tell me I am wrong? That review system is totally stacked against any MP girl who is just doing a HJ service.

Yes EB, the review history function of a reviewer is indispensable. The thing about MPs....take another look. At one time, I believe that 3 MP reviews = 1 Escort review in terms of VIP days. Now I don't even think that you can get VIP days for an MP review.

I have argued with TER about the rating system. It is flawed but at least they have standards and guide lines to rate an SP by. Numbers do mean something on TER and it is not all subjective.

I like the fact that you can go to a particular part of the country and you can run a search for example on Vegas providers with looks 8 and service 8 in a certain price range or age or provides a particular service and bam...there they are.

I wouldn't jump out of a plane without a parachute and I wouldn't hobby in the USA without TER. If a few malcontents want to get delisted from the site then they have removed themselves from the pool of sps that I will see unless they are a new agency girls or have some other connection that demonstrates they are not LE and not time wasters or rip offs.

It's hard to take seriously anything you read from anyone on Twitter. I agree that TER has its flaws but it is a source of information which can be used, you just have to read between the lines, crosscheck reviews and look at posting histories. It has its positives and negatives. Most SPs use TER reviews in their marketing and websites, unless they are terrible. I am leery of SPs who have too many reviews and posters who are reviewing too many ladies from one source. This is all common sense reading between the lines which we all have to do on all boards.

Yeah, I noticed that!
Kinda makes the extreme angry reaction coming from that FCKTER Twitter account the more surprising. (Sure seems like TER ruined their life!!)
Hehe, maybe TER should have a nice little "Suggestions" box on their front page to try and iron out the most common negatives coming from them, as even the people who like the site and find it useful acknowledge that it has problems.

Just so we're clear though, I'm not an "elite" lady who prefers extended dates. If anything I'll always pick some quick hot fucking over dinner dates any day(not that they aren't also enjoyable)!
