I think I will wear my black hat again to the next party, makes me more recognisable and not many women wear hats....besides I think I look good with the hat...

whats the age group at this party?
I was just wondering what the age group is at these parties. For a hobbist you have to be well established in your career(make major coin) to afford the hobby. None the less, I'm just wondering what the age group is.
Another question for those who attend the party. Has anybody went home with somebody who attend the party?
I'm thinking the party is to sit back and shoot the shit like other parties......or is the Merb party on the specal side.

I made it to the last party....got to meet some interesting people and have some good conversation, drink alot of beer and have a good time.
Then of coarse there are the ladies...cant forget the ladies. Some agency's will bring by some of their ladies to show off their talent. My personal highlight was getting draged onto the dancefloor by one of those hotty's and getting more of a grind than dancing.
And i did notice all the guys in the area approaching the dance floor to have a closer look as to what was going on....

So agencies actually bring women there to promote them and have guys hook-up with them.... I would have never thout that. I guess alot of the guys hook-up at the end of the evening and have a good time. Is the dress shirt&pants or jeans&shirt(polo), I hope its not business shirts, ties, and Jackets?
I've stayed a couple of times at the Hotel De La Montagne and its on the fancy and elegant side of hotels in montreal and I've always felt it was on the uppity-uppity side. One good thing is that Wanda's is next door. Ahhhh, the good old university days. I haven't been there in years.

Dress as you like though the decor of hotel de la Montagne is a litle upscale (fancy chandeliers, fountains, polished grand piano, etc...). Some had suits, others golf shirts, just wear whatever you feel most comfortable in because there's no dress code (unless you want to hit Thursday's afterwards and get into the dance club downstairs...).
As for the age range, I'm 24 and though I was the youngest one there at the last meeting (except for the girls from the agencies who came), most of the MERBites there weren't that much older than me, some 30's, some 40's, but everyone was out to have a good time and you won't even notice a difference.
