Ouch!!! Sorry to you Panthere....now is the time for Phil "the thrill" Kessel to step up and shine.

I sooo much agree Iggy...I really hope he begins to do some magic someday.....will see:thumb:

I saw the injury last night. He wasn't even hit

It was like Anastasia hit him wearing her Caps jersey

That Malkin is so fragile !!

Best regards

Malkin's injury will hurt, especially with the Flyers playing great and only 2 points behind the Penguins for the last wildcard spot. As a Leafs fan, i'm hoping the Penguins will make the playoffs since the Leafs will take possession of their first-round pick (from the Kessel trade) at the June entry draft. Were the Pens to miss the playoffs, that selection will be pushed to next season. But for the Leafs to get that pick, the Pens must make the playoffs or else the pick becomes a 2nd-rounder.

Huge win last night by the Penguins considering that the Flyers also won and are right behind them. It wouldn't surprise me to see the Penguins surpassing the Islanders, knocking the Isles into one of the wildcard spots. It would surprise me even less if the Flyers knocked the Red Wings out of the playoffs. The Red Wings are struggling badly and seem to be running out of gas to the finishing line. A playoff team isn't supposed to be blanked by the Toronto Marlies, which is exactly what happened the other night. Oh, how they miss Mike Babcock!

I'm not too surprised about the Red Wings. They don't really have anything other than Zetterberg, Datsyuk and Dylan Larkin. Zetterberg and Datsyuk are only a couple of years away from retirement. I do like Mrazek, their goaltender.

Huge win for the Pens!!!! The win also allowed them to get out of the wildcard position and ahead of the Islanders. But the Isles have a couple of games on hand, so all it means is that the Pens are likely to head back in the wildcard position soon. But it's okay, they're still ahead of the hated Red Wings, who will likely be passed by the Flyers and kicked out of the playoffs.

The Red Wings won't make the playoffs. Not surprising, considering they gave up on the best coach in hockey and replaced him with a stiff from the minors.

But to be honest, i can't really blame the stiff too much. Look what his overrated GM left him with! This is a very average team that is still being led by two old, injury-prone Europeans.

Fleury has been out with a concussion. I hope they shut him down until the playoffs since it's almost certain that they're in. I heard today that they're thinking about also shutting down Sidney Crosby until playoffs time in order to avoid getting him injured.

I'm glad the Pens will make the playoffs mostly because it means the Leafs will get their first-round pick in June. However, i would have preferred them getting in as a wild card since it would have meant a better pick. Oh well, you can't have everything.

I don't think they lost a game since Malkin got hurt.

I agree .sadly ..but Malkin is still à big lost to the team...ohh yes ...sniffff
I still remember when Malkin (when Crosby was out)had the team on his shoulder And he still carry it like à champ
