Please post of you have been harrased by police

Most "Stop and Identify" Laws in the U.S. only give police the power to require you to provide identification, only if they have a reasonable suspicion that you have committed a crime.

If I were stopped by police I would just politely ask "Have I done anything wrong?". If they then tell you that you were stopped for "...possible violation of law xyz..." then I would not refuse to provide identification. That alone could get you arrested. Once you have provided identification and they continue to question you I would just say "...am I under arrest?..." If they say no, then respond "Well have a good day." Certainly do not consent to them coming inside your apartment/hotel/etc. for possible search and further questioning.

bump ....... I would like to hear from people who have had experiences with cops harrasing them bout alleged encouters with "hooker" while they are driving a car .... or were arrested.

WE have to have a discussion about the fact that police want to keep police reports on you despite, the the old soliciting laws being found unconstitutional .


I WANT TO HEAR YOUR POLICE ARREST OR HARRASMENT STORIES REGARSING SP's.

Last summer I was driving and had to go under the Metropolitan elevated highway near St. Denis because traffic was re routed. A black cop comes over while I was at a red light and asked me why my flashers were not on to turn left. I tell him because there is only one direction for me to go as the road in front of me was blocked and I could not go straight ahead. The jerk starts to lecture me and continues for several minutes. A woman cop even came along to back him up but after a minutes she went away because she could see that he was being an asshole. I just let him talk until he talked himself out. after about 5 minutes he felt stupid and said OK, you could go. Some of these guys will look for an excuse to feel big.

This thread is mainly if you have been harrassed by police on suspicion of solicitation OR if you have been arrested for solicitation.
I do know , that police are keeping secret files on people that have been stopped in their vehicles, IRREGARDLESS if you have done anything wrong or not ........
Basically I want to hear from people who have been stopped in their car or arrested , talking to SW, or SP's. I want to have this discussion because given the unconstitutional nature of the (old) law, I believe police reports and conviction records should be destroyed. However I do know that the police are keeping secret files on people, with police reports especially if you have been stoppped by police in your car even once.



We have to start a conversation about how to get police records destroyed.

More importantly, since the old law was unconstitutional and since all sex workers are supposed to be victims, their criminal records should be erased.
