well, with the recent cloudy weather and the glum moods many of us have fallen into, i think it's time for a little merryment... So with the blessing of Orallover our master party-organizer, i think it's time to assemble once again for another MERB community get-together and drink until you're shit-faced soiree...

We've been discussing it for the last few weeks, so now seems a good time to have another fun little outing.

So how about this: next friday evening for 10pm, once again at the Hotel de la Montagne lobby (right next to the white baby grand piano), we shall all meet to talk, laugh, gossip, drink, and stare at the hot babes and hunky guys (all depending on your personal preferences, of course )

So bring yourself and your best jokes, if you've been at these GT's before you know they're fun, and if you've never been, why don't you stop by and meet some of the regular gang...?

And again, if some enterprising agency head decides to stop by with their stable of cuties for a quick meet-and-greet, we would be more than delighted to spend some time with you, and perhaps buy some a drink ...And you lovely indies, that goes double for you...

so hope you all will stop by and join us...

I thought the title of this thread was "Post - ..." with a hyphen, meaning it was just a post as in just a "sticky".

Anyway, like Sal said, Thanksgiving for us is this coming Monday, October 9.

Monday, Oct 9 is also Columbus Day in the U.S. A few hobbyists are taking advantage of this U.S. holiday and celebrating it in MTL- good for them. Unfortunately I am stuck in the good old US of A- bad for me.

Columbus Day is celebrated by a lot of Italian Americans, even though Spain should really be given the credit for financing the expedition of the three ships the Pinta, the Nina, and the Santa Maria. Evidences seem to suggest that Columbus is not the first non-native to visit the Americans, even though he is the one who has the most impact by starting the slave trade. BTW, Columbus Day is a day of mourning for Native Americans.

Sorry to get off topic. I can't make it but wish everyone has a great time at the GT.

Alright Folks, the GT is officially ON!

This friday the 13th of October, we shall amass at our regular place, the Hotel de la Montagne lobby, for some spirited chatting and downing of alcohol-filled drinks. Please come to meet old friends, or to connect a face to a familiar handle. Everyone from Merc and Merb are welcome.

Following our last two Get-Togethers, I will be busy this week seducing, er I mean contacting the various agencies so that they may pass by for an indeterminate time during what is usually their busiest weeknight. So far, it looks very promising.

to make it worth their while we need a good amount of members to show up, but we need to display our best behaviour especially if we want them to have a good time and to want to repeat this experience in the future. I'm counting on you!!

Our fabulous independant ladies are ALSO more than welcome, if they should be in the immediate vicinity.

Official start time should be at about 10pm, though myself I won't be able to show until 10:30pm.

Folks, I've got some real interest by the agencies in having their ladies dropping by at our little get-together, but i doubt it'll happen if only me and a few others show up!
