Post count is a good way flush out phonies like the notorious unemployed troll that hacks into accounts that have been dormant from 2006 and then starts infiltrating the board.
Also, newbies have a certain decorum. They come off a little shy. You can tell by the tone and the style that it is not really a newbie but one of our infamous and pathetic unemployed trolls.
Sometimes a newbie is just someone who is back with another account. I am on my third terb incarnation [requested deletion for the first, requested deletion which somehow became a voluntary permaban for the second] I figure another 7 or 8 incarnations and I'll get myself a Tardis.
